The experience at the hostel was super nice and chill. The place is beautiful, and so are the people. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The tasks were super simple, well organized, and clearly explained. They have an adorable, super sweet dog who keeps solo travelers company. My experience at Lá Glória House was peaceful, full of natural places and quiet evenings. I found the south of the island to be farther from the center and quieter, the place itself is beautiful. the hostel is not a hostel but guest houses, so there is not much interaction with guests, only with other volunteers. The schedule was clear and there are few tasks as it is off season in winter. Amauri is a nice person and an interesting conversationalist, flexible when it's possible. Only spoke Portuguese :) The provided breakfast is very basic. Obrigada pela experiência! 🙏🏻❤️

Meu experiencia na the hostel Beach was GREAT. Eu fiquei como 1 mês e it totally felt home. The schedule e organized e the hours are fair enough as well as the turns. Joe, THANKS for all the support, for the help with the task and for being nice to ask and say things. You're a beautiful person. I already miss your banana bolo, e seu special quente sanduicho. I made many friend aqui. I was lucky to find a great group a people to work with too. The location is close to the best beaches in town, e muito limpo e cafe da manha a muito rico. Thanks Amauri and Pietro por tudo.

My experience at the hostel Beach Hostel was Wonderful. It was my 5th volunteering job/experience and I could say the best of all of them. Joara e Amaury, the owners, are great people and they became like family. Is hard to say goodbye when you get to love the people. Also the hostel has a beautiful view of the hill and Atlantic Forest and pretty near to the most beautiful beaches and waterfalls. The hostel is all good vibes. You feel enchanted on Ilhabela with so many outdoor things to do. I made not only friends at the hostel, but a family ♥ Thanks Jo and Amaury from my heart!! You're awesome.

It is a place that you feel welcomed. The hosts really put their work and love into their business and tend to be fair with everyone. It is a nice place to stay and there are lovely beaches around and waterfalls - just beware the borrachudos! So use repel cream.

Voluntariar no hostel foi uma experiência bem legal. As tarefas são bem distribuídas e claras em cada turno, facilita muito a organização e execução. A localização é perfeita, fica próximo das praias do Sul e da avenida principal, facilitando acesso tanto de ônibus, quanto de carro/moto. Os anfitriões são maravilhosos, Amauri e Jana são queridos e dispostos a nos ajudar no que precisarmos. E o Fred é um doguinho muito fofo e sempre aparece quando vamos comer rs Sou grata por todas as amizades que fiz aqui ☺️

Local incrível, o anfitrião Amauri é uma pessoa fantástica. Nós acolheu muito bem. O La Glória House conta com espaço de quarto e cozinha exclusiva e equipada para os colaboradores. As tarefas foram simples e tranquilas. Tivemos uma ótima flexibilidade de horários para aproveitarmos para passear. E a ilha sem comentários. O La Glória está localizado próximo às praias mais bonitas da ilha. Recomendo o La Glória com seu anfitrião Amauri. E não posso deixar de citar o mascote da casa. O Fredy, um cão dócil e muito brincalhão. Vai deixar saudades!
