Are you meticulous about maintaining neat and tidy spaces? At Prime Backpackers, we're committed to providing guests with a comfortable and welcoming stay. If you're passionate about ensuring guests have a restful night's sleep in a clean and inviting environment, we'd love to have you on board!

What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Activities & Shift

As a Housekeeper at Prime Backpackers, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. Your responsibilities may include:

- Performing strenuous housekeeping tasks during midday shifts to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hostel.

- Making beds and refreshing bedding in guest rooms to create a welcoming environment for incoming guests.

- Hoovering and vacuuming floors to remove dust and debris, ensuring bedrooms are clean and allergen-free.

- Emptying bins and disposing of waste to keep guest rooms tidy and odour-free.

- Conducting deep cleans of guest rooms and common areas as needed to uphold cleanliness standards.

Rules

Positive Attitude Required: A positive and friendly attitude is essential to fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and fellow volunteers. Let's keep the vibes upbeat and enjoyable for everyone!

No Visitors After 11 PM: Out of respect for our guests' rest and relaxation, we kindly ask that no additional visitors be brought to the hostel after 11 PM.

Flexibility is Key: As volunteers, flexibility is essential to adapt to the dynamic needs of our hostel. We appreciate your willingness to assist wherever needed.
