The experience

Hello,
We are looking energetic, happy people who like to spend time with people but also responsible people that are taking work seriously.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pub Crawls: Be a part of our pub crawls at local bars!

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 20 and 30 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

European Union Passport

Program Details

- Bed in beautiful Hostel on the best surf city beach in Europe;
- Multicultural team (you can learn a lot from us, we can learn from you)
- You can earn some pocket money (hostel gives a margin from activities sold by the workers)
- You can get surf and yoga with a major discount for volunteers and use sport equipment we have in the hostel for free (sk8baords, snorkelling masks, volley and basketballs, wetsuit and hard surf boards (*for advanced level surfers only))
- Language practice no problemo;
- a proper short-term contract with health and accident insurance included

Activities & Shift

We adapt the shifts according to the moment, our needs and our team. There are usually 3 days of work and 1 day off. The shifts never start earlier than 10am and never end passed 22:00.

Rules

We are open minded, but hard workers. If you are looking for vacation or a place of spiritual solitude - it is not a right place for it, you will be constantly surrounded by people.
We want to share our space and enjoy life but also make great accommodation for people from all over the world.

Also, we try to choose applicants 1-2 months before the start date of your work here. Sometimes, if there is a sudden cancellation and we urgently look for someone, we might open a last-minute applications.

Please, DO NOT send us request 3+ months before, as we simply don't know on which dates we would be able to host you.
