Being part of the hostel community has been one of the best experiences I could have had. From the moment I arrived, I received a warm welcome and a very comfortable stay filled with pleasant experiences, and above all, I felt right at home. I am truly grateful to each and every member of this wonderful family, always willing to help me and, especially, encourage me to improve my French. The work is completely flexible, and they are always ready to listen and support you in any difficult situation. I recommend this experience 100%. I was very lucky to be accepted last minute and was there 2 months. The volunteer coordinator is amazingly welcoming and accommodating. I was incredibly well taken care of. I was given a comfortable space and fed 3 times/day. The hostel itself is beautiful and well maintained. The members of the community are all from different parts of the world and have lots to share. I enjoyed spending time with them all. It would be very helpful to speak French so that you can participate more in the community. I am not Catholic but still felt welcome. The work is easy but I recommend more days off :)

Everyone at the hostel is so welcoming and there is a lovely community that invites you into their lives. Each morning, you get to help with the breakfast and some housekeeping tasks, and then just after midday you share a lovely lunch and are free to explore Paris! And you get an entire day off each week. You share a comfy room with the other volunteer which has its own kitchen and bathroom. The brothers in the community are all so friendly and prepare delicious meals each day. And the French conversations are all so great. I had an amazing month in Paris - thank you the hostel :) Thank you Romel

My experience at the hostel was truly wonderful . I loved every part of it: the welcoming atmosphere, meeting guests, the salariés, who were all so kind, always making you feel comfortable. The community, I learned so much about them, like the value of service, also the food prepared by them is really great! I had the best roommates ever, Marine and Paula, who I will always cherish and love. The daily tasks are really simple and easy to make and you will be lodged in a studio shared with other volunteer which is great. Experiencing it all right in the heart of Paris was the cherry on top!

The hostel is an incredible place because it is located in the best area of ​​Paris, the staff is very friendly and sharing time with the community makes this place like a home where you will feel like family, the work is good for a hostel

It was better than I thought, the hostel have far the better structure that I saw in a hostel, there is a piano there, we have meals together, some days are even more especial, the volunteers rooms it's super comfortable, with kitchen e its own fridge, the staff and volunteers are awesome, I really felt like a community, we did help each others with everything we needed. Thank you Romel, thank you the hostel, Thank you Paris. If I can I would love to be part of the team in the future. ❤️❤️❤️🫡

I had one of the best experiences in my life so far, staying in the hostel was such a wonderful experience, everybody was so welcoming and attentive, the facilities were so comfortable and the location is perfect, i improved my french so much thanks to the fact that i was around local people all the time and was able to develop my skills during my shifts

The hostel is supported by a religious community and they welcome you inside their christian lifestyle. They were always very attentive and make me feel at home as long as I respect their rules and privacy. The location is superbe, right in the heart of Paris. Facilities are clean and modern. Daily tasks included assisting community members with the hostel breakfast and cleaning. We usually were done by noon and then the afternoon free. It's up to you if you want to have lunch and dinner with them. I'd definitely recommend the Assomptionists if you are on a budget and want to discover Paris

If you want to experience French culture and explore Paris, this is for you. The location is crazy, everything is close, the schedules are what they tell you and the room is perfect. This was my first volunteer experience and I just have to say thank you the hostel, what a beautiful experience, everything here is a great way to grow as a human being, I met many wonderful people, the staff, the community, the students, the guests and my fellow volunteers Julio and Andres, thank you for giving me this opportunity and I hope to be back soon.

My experience at this hostel was excellent. The friendly and family-like atmosphere created by the community of brothers made me feel at home. The tasks were well-organized, with clear schedules that allowed a good balance with free time. The facilities are comfortable and clean, and the food is simply delicious. Additionally, the cultural exchange with both the staff and guests made this experience enriching and special. I would definitely recommend it and hope to return someday.
