The experience

We are looking for dynamic personalities who could be part of great team and great culture. Vibe of our backpacker surf hostel is special and our main goal is to create an awesome community who would be responsible to give the best experience to our guests. Administration, Yoga, Videography and social hosts is the main tasks we are looking from our volunteers

What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

What you get

4 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Pubs: Get discounts at nearby pubs.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

YoYo is a fun backpacker/surf hostel where most social people hanging out. Ahangama is surfers paradise and we are nested in 30meters from one of the best surf spots in Sri Lanka surronded by palm trees

Activities & Shift

All tasks related guests Checkin-Checkouts and working behind the bar and helping our guests with providing all information about what they expect to deliver the best guest experience in south of Sri Lanka
