The experience

You will develop your Spanish skills living together with an Andean family in the capital of the Mantaro Valley,
Huancayo, the activities include assisting the local school teachers with arts, English, sports, etc.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 400 Per week

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Donation to project

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Program Details

you will enjoy learning spanish living in the central Andes with your Spanish teacher's family, the city is located in the central Peruvian Andes,
There you will find template mountain weather, cold nights, and 4 seasons in just one day,
The community consists of hardworking Andean families, in total who are still living traditionally. The main economic activity of the community is commerce and agriculture. The most varied fruits, vegetables, grains, etc. The people there enjoy the prehispanic traditional culture,
Your activities will consist of assisting the school teacher at a public kindergarten, or rural local high school.

Activities & Shift

actividades durante el dia o la tarde , de 3 a 4 horas de asistencia educativa, practica de español 24/7, 1 hora de clases teoricas de español los fines de semana son libres , una gran oportunidad de disfrutar de diferentes trekkings, conocer los restos de las cultural prehispanicas, ( huancas ) la selva central, el Nevada huaytapallana, etc

Rules

the additional monetary contribution to the program is USD 400 per week. (private bedroom, private bathroom)
