The experience

We are looking for someone who is friendly and organized, with great communication skills and well traveled to help us for a few days days at the front desk. Duties can include answering phones, emails and reservations, greet customers and help then with their needs, check-in and check out, giving info about the facilities and handling payments among other DIY projects.
If needed with cleaning, laundry and making the hostel look pretty.

What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

3 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English and Intermediate Spanish

Between 20 and 45 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Please remember this is WORK exchange and not a PLAY away. Volunteers will be asked for 5 hours of quality work everyday and the rest of the time will be yours to enjoy Puerto Varas.
We are looking for hardworking, experienced, organized, independent, smart and energetic individuals that will not need a lot of supervision and have the initiative to see what needs to be done and do it.

Activities & Shift

6 hours shift, 4 days a week. May vary in the morning, afternoon and/or evening.
3 days off

Rules

No drinking, no drugs, no smoking, no pets and no outside guests permitted.
We like to start with a trial basis of two week and we can discuss a lo ger term if it works out.
You need to have a phone that you can text or email for communication while you are here.
A passport or ID will need to be provided at arrival.
