Program Details

Come to learn, grow, meet new people and connect, eat vegetarian food, create good memories and have fun in an ecological farm with animals! Thanks to this volunteer program, you will experience the daily life on a farm and share beautiful moments with locals and other travelers from different countries.

We usually work from Monday to Friday (6h/day) and Saturday - Sunday are off for you to rest or travel in the country. Days start at 7am with the bell that will ring for breakfast.
Then work time is from 8am to 12pm and from 2pm til 4pm. In between you will enjoy a delicious vegetarian meal prepared on a wood stove and have time to rest (like a pure tico and take a nap or at your own way reading, walking around in the forest, listening music...) Dinner is usually served at 6pm and let you plenty of time before and after it to do whatever you feel like doing.

Activities & Shift

Here are some examples of activities you can do during your time with us:
-Learn about permaculture and organic agriculture in our organic gardens (sowing, watering, weeding, building terraces, harvesting ...),
-Participate in the creation and use of compost,
-Understand the use of natural and local resources,
-Use the medicinal plants of our garden,
-Interact with farm animals (horses, goats, goats, chickens, roosters, ducks, dogs),
-Discover how to cook typical dishes
-Create products with the resources of the farm (you can learn the process to make a goat cheese, cut and dry leaves of the medicinal garden to make infusions ...)
