It was a peaceful experience, the hostel staff were super attentive and patient, my English is not good and they explained everything to me calmly, they translated for me what I didn't understand. I highly recommend it. 🙂

Had great time in Siamese hostel. People from many countries told me about their normal life in other culture, what was quite different from mine. Also the Manager Nina is a very kind and empathy personality that invited us for a dinner. Perfecto place!

We strive to create a fair & positive environment for all volunteers. Unfortunately, ongoing complaints, refusal to follow guidelines, and difficulty working with the team made collaboration challenging. Despite support from staff, inefficiency and emotional instability disrupted workflow. The situation escalated when you reached emotionally to termination and left unprofessionally. Respect and cooperation are essential in our program. Our decision reflects the circumstances.

I stayed for 3 weeks. It was absolutely amazing. I became friends with colleagues. Truly sooo sweet people. They let me try lots of local food. Had the best food ever!! And they took me to places. I also got to meet fellow international travellers and had an amazing time with them. Every Saturday is bbq night, perfect time to socialize with everyone and enjoy karaoke. There are also some cooking classes. As for the work itself, it is as agreed upon. It is light and easy. The hostel is 30min away from the center. Anyone who likes chill and cozy vibes, this is the place to be!

Highly recommended to other volunteers visiting Bangkok. The entire team is so nice and friendly. They are patient in teaching you the system and process to help them when you are in shift. The job is not difficult at all, just help check in guests, scan their documents and send to Thai immigration portal, collect deposit for the keycard and tell them about the amenities and activities such as bbq party or cooking class. While I was there, I also observed and helped during the hostel xmas party! It was fun. They give you tips on where to buy souvenirs and what to visit. Would def come back.

The working hours were very respected and not that busy. I had easy tasks at the reception and social media, although I applied for social media. But working at the reception wasn't a problem at all, it was good to do different things! The hostel has awesome installations and is very secure. It's a bit far from the main attractions but you can get there by public transportation. Snook was the one I had more contact with, and she is very kind! The girls gave me a special dessert when I was leaving 🥰 I recommend this volunteering!!

The hostel is a great place to volunteer. This was my first time volunteering, and the staff here really took the time to make me feel welcome and included. I worked as a receptionist, the work was simple, the staff were patient and forgiving when I made small mistakes, and it gave me the opportunity to engage with foreigners in a new way. The hostel itself has a lovely atmosphere, however, if your goal is to see the main tourist attractions, note that this hostel is a little far from them (about 45mins via MRT). Otherwise, I highly recommend volunteering for the hostel.
