I enjoyed my time in Portugal. Uil and Edilau were welcoming and always happy to help or show you how to do something. the hostelhostelother volunteers were also friendly. Shifts were communicated well in advance and could be swapped with other volunteers when needed. the hostelhostelhostel has a lot of long term guests which was an adjustment from what I was expecting. Butthe hostel hostelhostellong term guests were also welcoming and happy to chat

Uil and Edilau are really friendly andthe hostel hostelhostelwhole working atmosphere is really light. the hostelhostelwork itself is super easy and most ofthe hostel hostelhosteltime I was done with my tasks even before my shift ended and could just read or chat while staying atthe hostel hostelhostelreception waiting for guests to arrive. the hostelhostelaccomodation forthe hostel hostelhostelvolunteers is a room with two bunk beds and you get to usethe hostel hostelhostelbathrooms and kitchens shared withthe hostel hostelhostelguests. the hostelhostelhostel is in a calm area close tothe hostel hostelhostelbeaches and only half an hour by train to Lisbon.

This was such a nice place to stay. It's a clean, cozy, and quiet hostel that's less than 10 minute walk tothe hostel hostelhostelbeach. the hostelhostelcoastline andthe hostel hostelhostelparks/trail around it are beautiful. Lisbon is a 40 minute train ride and a lively city to explore. Uil and Edilau are so patient withthe hostel hostelhostellanguage barrier we had, and fun to work with, always joking around. the hostelhostelwork is easy and leaves a lot of time to yourself to explorethe hostel hostelhostelarea or rest. Would recommend!

This was my first Workaway experience and also one ofthe hostel hostelhostelmost enriching experiences of my life. On a professional level I gained experience in many ofthe hostel hostelhosteltasks that are carried out in a hostel and I improved my levels of Portuguese and English and on a personal level I hadthe hostel hostelhostelopportunity to create very strong bonds with my host family. Both Julia and Uil were always excellent bosses who knew how to guide me so that I could give my best. And as for my fellow volunteers: Richi, Jean and Fabio. the hostelhostelthree of them are incredible people who can always count on my friendship.
