I stayed here for about two weeks and had a really nice experience. The owner is super kind and generous, I'm really thankful for how welcoming he was from day one. The hostel is small and cozy, so you feel at home quickly. Tasks are the hostel and easy to handle, which leaves plenty of free time to explore Budapest. The vibe in the hostel is generally calm. The other staff member is not very social, so if you're expecting a big family-like interaction, it might feel a bit distant. But if you're more independent and just want a relaxed place to volunteer, you'll be fine here.

I had a wonderful experience volunteering in the hostel. The hostel was cozy and pleasant, ideally located near Keleti Station, and just a short walk from the city center. The tasks were simple, and I had the flexibility to choose my working hours. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and positive experience. Thanks Tamas!

This was exactly what I was looking for. This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was great. I wanted to visit, explore Budapest, explore the surrounding areas, and was able to. The host was always available to answer any questions and I was able to enjoy my time here while volunteering. I was granted the leisure of completing the duties/task at my own designated time as long as I completed them daily. I was able to establish my own routine and enjoy my time. It was a great experience.

I had to leave earlier than expected because I work remotely as a teacher, and there was no space to work on site. However, the tasks were easy and quick to complete. The site is close to the train station, as well as bus stops, which makes it easy to get around the city. Thank you very much, Tamas!

I enjoyed my time at this small and cozy hostel. The work required about two hours a day, which was really chill and easy work, it's really just a spot for only one volunteer. The host was flexible with both the days and hours of work, allowing you to better manage your time and explore the city.

The place itself was okay, but hours were very flexible and location was extremely convenient which made it a great option for people who want to get to know the city!

My experience at the hostel was very good. It's a small hostel and the work takes about two hours per day, so you will have plenty of time in your hands to do other things. The perfect place if you are a digital nomad or you have an online job, as it's not a noisy and the host is flexible with the days and he will never give you extra work. It's not a party or a social hostel, it's for people who want to relax on their holidays and the age of the guests is usually over thirty. There is a spot for only one volunteer so keep that in mind. Personally,I would stay there again.

I had a really pleasant time at the hostel. The place is cozy and has everything you need to enjoy a good and quiet time. The job was not hard at all, and the owner and the manager are both quite respectful. I would definitely come back.

When I arrived I was a little shocked. The place was really dirty from the first look of it, especially the kitchen and shower (mold, sticky kitchen surfaces and floors,..) The room i stayed in was also not clean, it was really dusty and the floor had probably not been sweeped or moped in a while. I met two lovely people there and that made the experience enjoyable (I ended up leaving after a week) The hours themself were really easy, just cleaning. I was told an hour a day should suffice, but because it was so dirty i ended up doing more just to feel a bit more comfortable.

She arrived but she didn't do a lot for us, she stayed around seven nights and left our place. The guests told us, she doesn't wish to help us because of the kitchen is always full with unwashed dishes, unfortunately nobody wants to clean the dishes after cooking. It is a real problem there. She told them, the bathroom is also dirty and she does not wish to help in the cleaning. Anyway, we did not tell her anything or bad, she stayed here a week as a guest, just for free even she didn't like the hostel. She knows, why. For us it was not a problem, we had half house, she could stay longer but she left.
