The experience

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 5 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: 5 US $ for food expenses, bottled water and laundry


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Beginner English

Between 18 and 65 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

The volunteers work an average of 5 hrs per day from Monday-Friday, depending on the day.

The volunteers get 2 days off to socialize with the community members, visit local areas of interest like game parks, bird sites, mountain climbing.
Through this time they learn the local culture and enrich their skills and this helps in enriching their resumes.

The volunteers are expected to be team players in the whole project activities, portray high standard of discipline, feel free to express their feelings and ready to experience a new culture.

The volunteers should be expecting the following:
1. Excellent hospitality
2. Loving and caring family
3. Be ready to learn new ideas and skills
4. Either long or short term relationship
5. Health safety with mosquito nets and bottled water


Activities & Shift

Activities:
1. Teaching the children - morning hrs
2. Farm work - morning hrs
3. Outdoor activities with the children - mid day
4. Games, football and dance - afternoon


Rules

No volunteer is expected to walk alone without a guide at night.
No volunteer will be allowed to drink alcohol at the project site.
