I liked the stay at the farm's farm. Would definitely rate their kindness 5 stars, but felt some of the other 'best experience in their life' can give some untrue expectations. It took them a couple of days to open up, but that's fine ofcourse. In the beginning we where mainly together with the other volunteers. Keep in mind that communication can be a tough thing, as the farm only speaks some basic English. And please do ask him questions :). I noticed he rarely starts the story himself, but keeps on talking if you ask him things.

I spent 7 days at Watcharas farm, and it was amazing! I learned so much about the Thai culture and how life in a Thai village can be. Dengs food were amazing, and after a few days we became a big family. I would really recommend if you need to get away from the touristy Thailand and in to a more authentic experience. It was wonderful to be surrounded by nature and stillness. Thank you so much🙏

It was my first volunteering experience and I loved It. After 10 days, the farm family become my family! I feel there really welcomed ;) Because of dry seoson it was not that much to do but I still was learning every day new things; How to plant veggies, how to cook delicious food, how to cut bamboe, how to get bananas from tree, how to built from bamboe and last but not least how to be closer to nature! <3

It was our first experience with Worldpackers and it was a good one. The host and his family were very friendly and welcoming. Because of illness we didn't stay for long but we could experience being a part of the community in the village, during a funeral and see how the entire village came together. It was very nice with in the morning a mediation walk and in the evening sitting around the campfire together.

I spent 11 nights at this wonderful farm. The experience was so many things - surreal, immersive, beautiful, fun, educational, fulfilling and then some. the farm and Dang are wonderful hosts! They are so warm and good hearted. Dang's cooking is out of this world! The farm is beautiful and the perfect place to get in touch with nature and live a more simple and basic existence. I unfortunately didn't get to do much farming or gardening as I'd hoped because it's burning season but that didn't stop this being a very rewarding experience. Please feel free to message me with any questions. X

It was my first time volunteering abroad and I absolutely loved it! the farm snd his family welcomed me with open arms and were super nice. It was nice learning more about Thai cuisine and seeing up close the cooking process. the farm wanted us to learn more about the village so we got free time to explore the area. Loved doing the daily meditations. My favorite part of the day was sitting around the campfire while we all talked.

I really enjoyed my stay at the farm farms! This was my first work exchange, and it was a great first experience! the farm, Deng, and Phone were all very welcoming and kind. The food was really delicious, I know I'm going to miss it. I stayed 7 nights. We had two days off, for one of them we attended a funeral, and the other the farm took us trekking through the jungle which was really fun. The other days were mostly spent collecting and cutting wood and bamboo. I would recommend this work exchange for anyone who wants to connect with nature and practice meditation. Thank you the farm!

I truly loved my experience at the farm and I will recommend it to anyone who wants to reconnect with nature and simple things, learn more about buildings with bambous, share moments with an incredible Thaï family, and last but not least, eat amazing thai food. While I was there, the work was more about construction than farming or gardening but it did not prevent me from learning a lot about construction from bamboo and wood (with yet so few tools) !! The work can sometimes be a bit physical but is always pleasant and very varied and the schedule allows you to have a lot of free Time.

I spent nine days at the farm and would have stayed longer if I didn't have a friend to meet! The host: the farm was funny, helpful, informative, and so kind. Deng cooks amazing vegetarian food. You will not be hungry. The experience: morning & evening meditation. 3 meals a day. We did something different every day, which was fun. From gathering bamboo to building with it, helping set the foundation for a community kitchen, cleaning up the farm, painting, I loved it all. The stay: private bungalows with sleeping pads and blankets. I was warm enough.
