This place is definitely not a normal hostel! I ended up staying twice there and one month ended up being in total 8 months! This place is truly a home away from home. You will feel warmly welcomed as soon as you enter. The owner Kerrie and her sons who are running the hostels are one of the kindest people I know. Besides the work wich is quite easy to manage, they try their best to help you in all sorts of ways to make your experience in Australia better. You get free accommodation in a beautiful boho style hostel super close to a surf beach which i loved!

Loved my experience here :) I came with my friend and they were super flexible about keeping our days off together. There's definitely a reason people keep coming back- it's cozy and everyone is very welcoming. Important to note: there are a few dogs (which I loved, but may not be for everyone). Overall I would absolutely recommend volunteering with them :):)

I had a great time at the hostel! Everyone was friendly and welcoming and the owners were easy to talk to and flexible if you needed a specific day off. Great location and easy to walk to the beach/shops and the public transportation works well for nearby towns. The cleaning each day was easy, as there were many volunteers (around 15), and having so many volunteers was wonderful for making good friends :). The only thing different from the profile was that everyone had one day off and not two as advertised, but there was still plenty of free time to explore after work.

Living and volunteering at the hostel was truly an amazing experience! I met awesome people from all over the world - friends that I will most definitely keep in touch with. If you like living with many social people, this is the place for you! Wollongong and the beach was also unreal and having Sydney an 1.5 hour train ride was also great.

The hostelwas an amazing first worldpackers experience it truly felt like a home away from home. As a solo traveller I felt like I had such a great community there and even ended up travelling with some of the other volunteers afterwards. The work is easy and you have plenty of free time to explore and go to the beautiful beaches. It's easy to see why so many people return and stay longer.
