My experience at the hostel was so fun!! First of all the owners are incredibly kind and understanding people. I really enjoyed meeting and spending time with every one of them. Giulio, Paul, Manu, and Abdel were all great. The tasks were super easy and you have a lot of free time to explore. The hostel vibe is very nice, as it's calm and chill, it's also great for meeting people. There were so many fun places to visit by train or bus nearby, but also in Genova itself. I'd give the experience as well as the city a 10/10.

My stay in Victoria House hostel was really great. Genova is unique. The city itself but also the surroundings, between sea and mountain. Definitely one of my favorite hikes and favorite beaches around there. I'm sure I will come back at some point in my life. Off all the hostels I've stayed in, Victoria House is by far the friendliest. It's really easy to meet people, I didn't have time to feel lonely once during 2 months. Also the breakfast on the balcony, with the birds flying nearby, became something of a habit I was attached to. I think this volunteering has changed me a bit :)

The best Hostel in Italy for sure! I really loved it! The hostel is amazing, the managers are incredible, as much as the others volunteers. I recommend for everybody who wants a safe place. I had the chance to meet ex volunteers because they became friends, so you can imagine how good the vibe is. Thank you so much!

My experience was in Victoria House Hostel (same owners) and it was just perfect, the managers and staff were super nice and welcoming, I felt at home very quickly. The city is a very cute and interesting, lots to explore. The coast very large, so a lot of different and charming beaches to visit. Overall a great city as for location and things to do. And yes, if coming here be prepared to have tons of focaccia and pesto 🤤❤️.

I absolutely loved working at Victoria House hostel. It has a very friendly atmosphere and it's a good place to get some rest (since it's not a party hostel). The managers are nice and work hours are respected. Above all, Genova is such an amazing city that it really has my heart. The city itself is amazing but it's also very easy to travel from to other great destinations.

My time at Ostellin Hostel has been amazing! The hostel is comfortable and cozy, with everything you could possibly need. The other volunteers and staff are wonderful people who go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and at home. Genova is a great place to be based; you can get lost in the historical centre, hike in the mountains or take a quick train to the beach. It's also very easy to go on short trips to Nice, Cinque Terra, Portofino, etc. The hours are respected and there is a lot of flexibility. I would highly recommend this experience to others.
