This is was my first time doing Worldpackers and it was amazing! The work at the hostel isn't hard and you get the chance to meet amazing people between the other volunteers and the guests. Carlos makes sure everyone is comfortable and has everything as well as going out of his way to take us the rainforest and beaches. There's beaches near by and many activity and things to see when you're not working. Overall all it was such a fun experience!

As someone who came back for the second time to the hostel, I once again had an amazing time! A few tips I've learned: bring 1-2 pairs of long pants for mosquitos, try bebos cafe or other local places, make friends with the girls, locals, and guests, get involved in day trips, try local transportation(Catano ferry!), walk to the beach and around the area as much as you can. The area is safe, and I've never felt unsafe walking alone, just be with someone at night. Carlos is wonderful and even got me a cake for my birthday! PLS reach out if you have literally ANY questions ab the experience!!)

Mu time at Hostel the hostel was amazing. I have met wonderfu girls from all around, create memories with them. The owner Carlos is really nice person, he always tries to make his best to make us feel comfortable and enjoying our stay here. He was taking us on beautiful trips around the nature of Puerto Rico which I am really grateful about. This was definitely one of the best volunteering experiences in my worldpackers career and I would love to come back. I love PR culture and it's beauty. I am grateful for this experience and z Carlos made it even better, I could learn a lot about the PR.

My time staying the hostel was phenomenal. Your host, Carlos goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and secure from the jump. From when he is available he makes an effort to prioritize the experience of the volunteers and provides excursions and trips out of his own generosity. The work itself is quite simple, maintain the hostel, check in guest, restock toiletries, change bedding, and help if further needed. the hostel also provides a wonderful environment to engage with other volunteers and create connections that will enhance your experience greatly! Just remember to pack bug spray!

Working the hostel was a great volunteer experience! Carlo was very enthusiastic in taking us to attractions and providing transportation when needed. He was also concerned about our daily life and condition, which gave me a very good first hostel experience. The girls I worked with were very kind and easy to get along with. I left many good memories in Puerto Rico!

The hostel was a great place to stay, the host Carlos was fun and interested in showing us around as well as Puerto Rican culture and night life. The work wasn't hard most days and we had a lot of time to see the island too. Definitely a social place and I never felt alone. There was always somebody who didn't work and would go explore the city or to the beach with me.

This was my first volunteer experience, here the hostel. Once I got here, I felt so welcomed by carlos! He really makes sure you have everything you need to be comfortable, while staying with the other volunteers. Along with that, he also takes the time out of his day to take his volunteers out! Also, the hostel is around so many attractions and beaches (walking distance), when you want go explore on your day off. The location is perfect! Aside from that, the work you do at the hostel is not a heavy load. The tasks are quite simple, and if you have questions, carlos will always be there to answer!

I had an amazing time the hostel, Carlos is very nice in terms of picking you up from the airport, driving you when going out but also the public busses are free so you can get around & in my case we were a big international group of volunteers so we enjoyed it together:) plus, I actually only worked two days a week!

First time doing Worldpackers and I couldn't be more thankful! My team was amazing. I met so many young wonderful women who were the highlight of this experience. Also, Carlos is the best host! He went out of his way to take us on roadtrips and made sure we were having a great experience. I felt safe at every moment of my stay!!! Huge thanks to Carlos for making this happen :) The tasks are very simple and don't require much effort. General cleaning and taking care of the guests check in/out. I definitely recommend you to try living this experience!
