The experience

We need help to walk, train, feed and clean up after the animals.
Some animals have just come in off the street and need one to one training.
Some need physio, some need medicating, some just need attention and love.

The daily routine includes, walking, cleaning. medicating and feeding the animals.

Walks are for at least an hour so you must be strong and fit.

Volunteers work 6 days a week, 5 hours a day.

Shifts are either morning or afternoon from 8:20 to 13:30 or 14:50 to 8:00pm

Activities & Shift

Morning shift is a lot of cleaning and setting up the animals for the day. Dogs are walked and then fed. These 3 jobs are the most important jobs of the rescue and we take them very seriously. If any of these things dont happen the sanctuary does not work.

The afternoon shift is a lot more relaxed. We have time to work on building projects and sometimes when we have visitors to the sanctuary lead them our on hikes in the mountains with some dogs.
