The hostel was a home away from home. The hostel is so cozy and Bob and Richard were both fair and the work was easy enough. The only downside is there are no regular days off however Bob managed to get us a few days off to do day trips which were awesome. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to work in a Hostel

Amazing experience. Bob and Rich are great hosts and made me feel welcome from the day I arrived. The work at the hostel is fair, you have fun and time especially to explore the nightlife in and around Belfast. I was also lucky that the volunteers who were with me were also incredible. And the hostel in general has a good family and relaxed atmosphere. I recommend this position to everyone who wants to have a good time and get to know Belfast. Thanks to the hostel family!

I had such a great time at vagas. It's like my home away from home and I made so many new wonderful friendships with other staff and guests. Thanks for everything Bob and Rich ❤️

The hostel was a wonderful experience. Bib and Richard are committed to make the hostel a warm and welcoming place for both guests and volunteers. As a first experience, I am glad to have come to this hostel. The work is fairly light as well as the shifts. You can get a good feeling of home and go out and explore the city. Bob and Richard have different ways of approaching the vibe of the hostel, but both come from a place of care and wanting to provide a good experience for the guests. My experience was nothing but positive.

Honestly I had a really nice time is Belfast, and obviously the hostel. I got to meet a ton of really nice people, both other volunteers and guests. The work is incredibly easy, the only downside is there are technically no days off. So if you wanna see the rest of Ireland, try and plan ahead of time with Bob the manager. Also the location is really good, the street parallel to the hostel has a lot of restaurants and fast food joints as well as some cool thrift stores.

I enjoyed my time at the hostel more than I was expecting! The other volunteers and Rich were wonderful and a great craic. The work is easy, although be aware if you're going in the winter there won't be much sun light left to explore the city as you get off work at 1.

The hostel is a great place to volunteer! All the work is exactly what is listed! You get a day off about once every two weeks but other than that it was a great experience ! Met lots of great people

The other volunteers were wonderful and i loved living and working with all of them. Richard, the owner was also super cool and nice. However, the manager Bob was tempermental and quite frankly made a lot of us feel uncomfortable on multiple occasions.

The hostel was a wonderful experience! From the hostel itself with its bohemian and eclectic vibe, to the fun and caring staff Bob and Rich, and the other amazing volunteers I was able to meet! the hostel is about a 15-20 min walk away from the city center and also close to some fun pubs, museums and gardens.

I was only at the hostel for 4 weeks. This was the most fun, amazing, incredible, life lesson learning time of my life. The hosts Rich and Bob are absolutely chill, amazing, professional, and just awesome people. First time doing WorldPackers and traveling full time in Europe. This was an amazing stepping stone for hostel stays and volunteering at hostels. This was the most fun I've had in my life. I love Belfast, the hostel, and the people I have met there eternally now. Rich, Bob, and my fellow volunteers started out as strangers but quickly became what I consider friends for life. Peace💕
