It was my second volunteering experience, and I highly recommend the hostel!! I appreciated it so much, the staff members were wonderful, Bob and Richard as well. My goal in coming here was to practice my English and I could really improve it with international travellers and the reception task. The tasks are really easy and even if you don't have technically days off during the week, working hours are arranged to be able to visit the surroundings and enjoy the nightlife!! Belfast is such a great city!! It was a great pleasure to volunteer here!! Thank you the hostel!!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel! I instantly felt very welcomed and comfortable by all the staff & the hostel itself is very homey. The work is very straight forward and the agreed upon hours were respected. Belfast is a great city to explore with lots to explore; I loved learning about the interesting history and enjoying all the nearby nature. The hostel is in a great location, with public transport easily accessible. While you technically don't have a day off throughout the week, I still found it easy to explore plenty around the city and neighboring areas.

I had a great time at the hostel! It was my first volunteer experience and was a great place to learn about working in a hostel. Bob and Richard are fair and kind and always wanted to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. The only downside is that you don't technically get days off but the work that you are doing is very fair and manageable. The hostel itself is clean and homey. And in a pretty central location I made so many new friends during my time and would recommend this experience!

I had a great time at the hostel! The tasks were as listed, cleaning every day was easy. All the other team members really become family 🫶🏼 We had so much fun running pub crawls and meeting travellers from all over the world, the only down fall I would say personally is that you don't actually get any days off because you have to clean every day, but bob did make sure that we got 3 days off in the 6 weeks we were here 😊 Richard is great and will be a friend for life and bob is very caring and informative and does his best to make sure the hostel is the best it can be. We are so greatful.

The hostel was a home away from home. The hostel is so cozy and Bob and Richard were both fair and the work was easy enough. The only downside is there are no regular days off however Bob managed to get us a few days off to do day trips which were awesome. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to work in a Hostel

Amazing experience. Bob and Rich are great hosts and made me feel welcome from the day I arrived. The work at the hostel is fair, you have fun and time especially to explore the nightlife in and around Belfast. I was also lucky that the volunteers who were with me were also incredible. And the hostel in general has a good family and relaxed atmosphere. I recommend this position to everyone who wants to have a good time and get to know Belfast. Thanks to the hostel family!

The hostel was a wonderful experience. Bib and Richard are committed to make the hostel a warm and welcoming place for both guests and volunteers. As a first experience, I am glad to have come to this hostel. The work is fairly light as well as the shifts. You can get a good feeling of home and go out and explore the city. Bob and Richard have different ways of approaching the vibe of the hostel, but both come from a place of care and wanting to provide a good experience for the guests. My experience was nothing but positive.

Honestly I had a really nice time is Belfast, and obviously the hostel. I got to meet a ton of really nice people, both other volunteers and guests. The work is incredibly easy, the only downside is there are technically no days off. So if you wanna see the rest of Ireland, try and plan ahead of time with Bob the manager. Also the location is really good, the street parallel to the hostel has a lot of restaurants and fast food joints as well as some cool thrift stores.

I enjoyed my time at the hostel more than I was expecting! The other volunteers and Rich were wonderful and a great craic. The work is easy, although be aware if you're going in the winter there won't be much sun light left to explore the city as you get off work at 1.
