Ruben and the guest house were just an amazing relaxed experience, the hostel has such nice vibe, and it's super cute, the place is a super location close to everything you need in Almeria, the hours of work Ruben always let the volunteers find the best option for the working hours, the environment super friendly, Mari the person responsible of the cleaning a super kind and nice. The terrace of the house is a must super chill-out place. If you are thinking to volunteer at the guest house you won't regret.

My experience at the guest house couldn't have been better! Ruben is a sweet and thoughtful host, always making sure that the volunteers are comfortable and having a good time. He's also super flexible about the work hours and routines. The work is light and enjoyable. Volunteers get a private room with a super cute balcony. Super comfortable. The hostal is located at the heart of the historic centre, so you'll be at an amazing location too! I totally recommend the experience with the guest house! 😊

I really recommend it! Both the city Almeria and the guest house are interesting, beautiful and quiet places. The work is flexible, dynamic and not hard. And Ruben, the host, is a wonderful person! I like a lot stay here!!

Almería is an incredible city, has a lot of Arabic influence. The beach is a 15 minute walk from the hostel. The work in the hostel is very easy, it is a small hostel. Ruben is an incredible guy, always worried about the volunteer. The volunteer has a private room with refrigerator, TV and private bathroom. It is my 4 volunteer experience and this was the best of all. I recommend!

My experience couldn't have been better. Ruben is an amazing person, helpfull, talkative, always willing to help and advise you and also really friendly. Also Mari, who works in there is a really nice and friendly person, they all wecome you the best way possible. The Gust House is not that big for now, not many rooms, what demmands a really personal approach, It makes you feel like home. Really good rooms and common area, wonderful terrace and ambiance! Bottom line, I'm glad that I coud be a part of the Guest House for a while and also be able to live in this beaultiful city.

Una experiencia genial y súper tranquila. El anfitrión es amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar (no tuvimos contacto personal, pero siempre estuvo disponible por WhatsApp). Las actividades son súper fáciles. Lo recomiendo. Gracias Rubén 🙌🏻

Es la tercera vez que hago este voluntariado no solo porque Rubén es increíble como persona sino también porque es muy tranquilo el lugar y te da tiempo a que puedas conocer la ciudad, hacer ejercicio, visitar lugares y practicar idiomas. Las tareas son muy sencillas y el lugar del Hostel es muy acogedor tanto para los voluntarios como para los huéspedes, por otro lado también Rubén compra comida para el desayuno lo cual para nosotros los viajeros es algo que se agradece

La experiencia te permite conectar con viajeros de todo el mundo y aprender sobre la operación de un hostal. Valoré tener un espacio privado para voluntarios, se cuenta con todo lo básico para la estancia. La comunicación con el host Rubén siempre fue muy buena y también el trabajo en equipo con el staff de limpieza (Mary es top). Fuimos en primavera y el clima estuvo templado, muy disfrutable para conocer Almería y sus alrededores.

Mi experiencia fue bastante buena! Si buscas un lugar con bastante autonomía, disfrutas conocer viajeros y aprender más de la hostelería, este es un lugar ideal. Si bien no tuvimos mucha oportunidad de conocer a Rubén, la comunicación siempre fue oportuna y continua con él. Las actividades y horarios fueron las acordadas y respetadas con lo cual pudimos organizarnos para conocer muy bien la ciudad y alrededores. El espacio de los voluntarios es cómodo y cuenta con todo lo necesario (incluyendo AC) Mari fue una gran persona que nos guió presencialmente con quien compartimos mucho. Recomendado!
