It was an overall good experience. Sarandë was an amazing place with fun atmosphere. the hostel has the makings to be one of the best hostels around. The spaces we were part of creating are going to be amazing when they're ready for use! Just a shame I couldn't see it completed. Will just have to come back 😁

It wasn't what I applied for. He asked us to hammer rock from a wall, prime & paint with gasoline in unventilated basement. There was only enough protective gear for 1 of us. Others said their lungs hurt. He was unresponsive, & disappeared before we can discuss concerns. He agreed to update description bc of our concerns, but still hasn't. I couldn't work well due to chemicals/mold worsening my health. He said I can do paintings, yet devalued them after. I arrived as a teen, & he was sexual. I didn't know what to do. I feel taken advantage of, manipulated & this stole my innocence in many ways

In the time you spent in the hostel the team changened 3 times.
There was a lot of everything that you described.
Alvaro and Danyeli did all that and left 2 paintings. They only stayed 2 weeks. Thank you for the varnish by the way.
You took your paintings with you.
Anyway i am sorry you felt this way and had to leave one month early.
Those last statemens were as harsh and false as they could be.
You forgot to mention that we had to kick out the French guy because of you.

It was a great experience!, all staff was very nice and welcoming. There is not a lot to de around but if you are looking for a relaxing time this is perfect!. Very close to a very nice beach with amazing sunsets. I would definitely recommend this experience if you're looking for being near the beach and relaxing:)

Was a good time in Saranda. Mas tasks was check in and make beds for check ins. The tasks was easy and staff is kind and willing for help.

My experience at the hostel was incredible! It was my first volunteer and from the moment I arrived they made me feel at home :) shift schedules were organized and there is flexibility for changes. Albano, Rahima and the entire team of volunteers, I will miss you guys! Thank you for this amazing experience.

My experience at the hostel was very good. It was my first hostel experience, and I learned a lot. The schedules were always respected and the team was always very flexible with the tasks and if we needed to change shifts. Albano is an excellent administrator and you can count on him for any questions you may have. The space for volunteers is very good, as we have our own space to eat meals and a bathroom too. Volunteers are responsible for their space, so each day someone needs to clean and everyone contributes to maintaining the place. Definitely I hope to return one day!

Simply amazing to spend a month in the hostel, Rahima and Albano are amazing managers and even more amazing human beings. I met lots of great people from the volunteering team and guests. Tasks where very well organized in shifts and very flexible in case you want to da day trip or need some specific time. By far the best hostel in Sarandë , I will absolutely come back to visit. Love you all guys ♥️

The hours were reasonable and it was a great environment to meet people! It can be a bit disorganized but it's not too stressful. Saranda is beautiful and so much fun in the summer :)

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel. I really felt at home there and am truly really sad to leave. Albano is a great host, he really connects with the volunteers and is always available when you need him. He's open to feedback and any input you have. He finds solutions for any problem you might have and is open to listen and discuss anything. I would definitely recommend volunteering here!

Kinda hard to put on words how special this time at the hostel was for me. Left a part of my heart in Sarandë, and I'll be forever grateful for how much I felt like home in there.
