As my first volunteer experience, I didn't know what to expect, and I was truly surprised by the good atmosphere at the hostel and the kindness and communication between the hosts and volunteers. Working hours are respected, as are free time and tasks to be completed. The space within the hostel is comfortable, and you can appreciate the work in every detail, from the super clean and tidy rooms to the kitchen and bathroom, which never lack anything. I had a wonderful time here, meeting new people and exploring Belgrade. 100% recommended!

The hostel isn't just another small hostel in the heart of Belgrade, it's a home for tired travelers. You get comfy beds, hot/cold showers, everything clean and cozy, plus a bunch of other adjectives I could throw in but you get the idea. What really makes it special are the people: Dragan and Nikola, as Serbian (and as wonderful) as they come, and a crew of volunteers who make you feel like family. Some even come back, which honestly says more than any review. Would I recommend volunteering? Of course, it's one of the best, and probably the hardest to leave. P.D.: this is my 2nd time here.

This experience was amazing! The tasks are totally manageable and well organised, giving you a lot of time for yourself. It's not just a volunteering, it's a chance to grow, learn and feel part of something. From day one you feel like a part of a family, as Dragan would say “you guys are my unwanted children”. ❤️And honestly, that weirdly sums it up perfectly.Nikola, Dragan and the other volunteers that I met made this place feels like home.Just one tiny piece of advice: beware of the attic during night shifts. Mysterious noises, ghostly whispers.. I was so terrified that I'm gonna come back.

Ah, our dear “unwanted child” — you got the essence just right. Tasks may be simple, but the real magic is the family we stitch together here (attic ghosts included). You already know you’re part of this home, and yes… we’re certain the whispers will lure you back sooner than you think. 😉

With love (and a little attic mischief),

A wonderful experience through and through. clear and easy tasks, very reasonable hours, plenty of time to work/enjoy the city/relax. the hostel is cared for and being kept clean and organized at all times. it is full of character and so are the lovely owners and the guests. note: most volunteers during my stay were long time nomads, not the crew you would usually expect, although fab. so instead of extremely social it was a very chill stay. immerse yourself in local culture - Belgrade's music scene, events, ćevapi and you'll have a fantastic time just like I did. хвала вамааа💋💋

My experience in the hostel was amazing. Thanks to Dragan, Nikola and the rest of the volunteers for this experience. Belgrade is a beautiful city where you can enjoy a lot and, when it comes to the host, they will always help you to have a great experience during your time there. Definitely I'll return! Highly recommended

Staying at the hostel was such an experience, I was supposed to stay 3 weeks but I actually did for 5 and a half. The hostel is small, the tasks are not hard but it's better if you have previous experiences with housekeeping and hostels. They will teach you everything, it can be or seem a lot of information at first, so make sure to make notes. The shifts alternate, during the week days it's shorter 6h but weekends can be 8h. You work 4 days and have 3 off. Cozy, clean and family styled. I'm definitely coming back ❤️ thank you so much Dragan, Nikola and Toma 🐱

I had the best time at the hostel! The hostel is small and has a super homely feel. From the minute I entered I felt super safe and super comfortable here. The work is super easy and shifts are sent out well in advance so you have time to plan things to do on your days off. The other volunteers are super friendly and are always ready for a laugh, the place definitely feels more like you're joining a family, not a workplace. A special thank you to Dragan for making me feel so welcome, giving me advice, sharing his knowledge, and just being a generally amazing manager and hostel owner!!

I had the best time volunteering at the hostel. The owners are very welcoming and do everything to make you feel at home. If I had any questions they would always be happy to help me out. The shift schedule is fair and gives you plenty of time to explore Belgrade. You will have a lot of laughs and chances to meet other travellers. Overall, you'll have lots of fun while having the chance to learn new skills. All you have to do is bring a good attitude.

The hostel was great! Dragan and Nicola are the nicest and most welcoming people, and also have a great sense of humor. The hostel is more like a medium sized apartment, where everybody lives closely together and gets along great. Dragans cooking skills are awesome! During my stay i met lots of nice people from all over the world and created lots of memories. Belgrade is definitely one of my favorites. Im sure i will come back some time!
