Barbara and Agus are two of the most kind people you will meet! They were very patient with me as I worked on my spanish, answering all questions and slowing down to talk to me and make sure I understood what was happening, while also helping teach about both the local culture and environmental sustainability. You have a lot of free time here, so be prepared to busy yourself with different things.

A great first volunteering experience for me and my friend. Work varied between physical activities like cleaning up a forest, to gardening work. It was rewarding helping to get the farm ready for visitors in the spring. We also got creative projects including painting and making a video about our experience on the farm. You need to be a proactive person because you get a lot of freedom and spare time to do your own thing, and there's always more to do on the farm if you offer (I now wish we'd offered to do more!), otherwise definitely bring a book. Barbara and Agus are friendly and helpful :)

Barbara and agus are great people and made me feel very welcome in their home. on the farm i not only learned to engage with the animals and feed them, but also i learned a lot about sustainability. barbara took time, to tell me about the farm and let me know if i did any mistakes and showed me how to do everything properly.

Dos vasos llenos de leche gracias!! Can't recommend this experience enough, I had an incredibly wholesome time at El Trasgula with Barbara, Agus and their many loveable furry/non furry friends. We instantly became part of their daily life on the farm, learning lots and always having a great time. Wish it was longer ⭐️

Barbara and Agos are lovely people, always willing to share knowledge about the land, their animals and their Cider. Tasks are varied so you aren't stuck doing the same thing every day and the work is physical but satisfying. Some days it feels like you have the farm to yourself so if you don't mind having some time to yourself I would 100% recommend volunteering at the farm!

I had a wonderful experience at the farm. Everyone was very welcoming and generous. Work on the farm was very reasonable and the view was gorgeous. Plus the lunches were delicious. Barbara and Agus were very patient with us and we learned a lot throughout are stay. It was all I could've asked for. Huzzah👐

Barbara, Agus and Violeta were very friendly and welcoming and they made me feel at home on the farm. The location is beautiful and especially suited to someone who wants to get in touch with nature. I speak very little Spanish which did make communication a challenge as not many people speak English in the area. However, Barbara speaks very good English and Agus is learning. Violeta is a great cook and the food was excellent, they are always very generous.

This was such a beautiful experience for me, i had days where everything was very relaxing and I had alot of time for myself and other days when the Farm was full with people and I absolutely loved every day of it :) The food was amazing, Barbara and Augustin made me feel welcomed and showed me alot of things I'll always be thankful for (recommended me a place to go on my free day, took me into town, and I experienced so many things I normally would have to pay for,..) Absolutely recommend this!!

I had a great time at the farm :) i learned a lot. their expectations were very reasonable, they offered a lot and asked for little. i felt very included in their family. i had a bit of a tough time keeping up with their asturian spanish, but if you're willing to ask questions and be flexible when you don't understand, it's a good learning experience 🌰

It was one of the best experiences I had for a long time :D Barbara and Agustin are perfect hosts and they really try to show you the spirit o the farm. You become more than a volunteer 'worker', you become part of the entire project. We did lots of diferent things from gardening ( different technics and experimental projects going on), animal care, we built a greenhouse with used PET bottles and had an amazig time learning lots of other things sitted at the table enjoying the true Asturian cousine :) The place is beautifull and represents the real Asturian landscape :)
