Volunteering here was really nice, I even extended my stay! haha Michel and Franklyn are nice guys and they will make you feel at home, if you have any issues they'll be ready to assist you. Both are very flexible in terms of schedule and everything so if you need to travel on your days off you can just arrange it very simply. They're always happy to share insights of their culture and country and I've learned a lot listening from their stories. We also have Torry (correct me if I typed it wrong) a lovely border collie who comes by with Michel sometimes Thx for everything :)

I had a really awesome experience at the hostel!!! Michel and Franklin are great bosses who respect and encourage independence. Michel trains you very well for the work, leaving you feel very confident doing it yourself. The volunteers room is spacious and provides great privacy from the guests. There is plenty of time to explore Eindhoven and surrounding cities which was a big highlight of mine! Thank you to the other volunteers and to Michel and Franklin who made my experience amazing :))

I had an amazing time!!! Being at the hostel for a month gives you a taste of how nice living in the Netherlands is. Everyone was so welcoming and the shifts were easy to do but it is important to pay attention to details. Overall a really good experience to learn new things, meet the locals and internationals and explore the beautiful country. Also there's a really beautiful park next to the canal close to the hotel and the volunteer room is cool with the terrace :)

I feel very lucky that my first volunteering experience was at the hostel. Michel and Franklin are awesome. I have always felt I can trust them both if I ever need anything. Schedules are short and flexible, tasks are easy and whenever I needed any feedback both Franklin and Michel were respectful, patient and understanding. I have enjoyed meeting and getting to know them as well as my fellow volunteers. This place is someone's home and life's work and I'm happy that during my stay all of us have learned to respect and take care of it and of each other as the family we became.

My experience at the hostel was very nice! The tasks in the hostel are not hard and the time shifts are always well respected. This also means that you have the chance to travel a lot during your free days! Also, Eindhoven is a small city so you can go easily everywhere by foot, but it's also well connected to many other cities. I had fun working at the hostel, meeting a lot of new people and sharing life with the other volunteers <3 Thank you to Michel and Franklin for hosting me, hope to see you again!

Great experience! Highly recommended to practice your English and meet people from all over the world. The hostel has a nice room for the volunteers and it's close to the city center. You have a lot of free-time to travel around the Netherlands and it's also close to Germany and Belgium. The job is relatively easy if you pay attention to details. The best part of the experience was the group of volunteers. I had a lot of fun working at the hostel!

My experience at the hostel was incredible, I made new friends and got to know Eindhoven's culture a little more. The atmosphere between the volunteers and the hostel itself was very relaxed and friendly. Michael and Franklin were very welcoming and explained what had to be done. The city itself is beautiful and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to get to know Eindhoven and have a great experience. -There's also a turtle (Donatello), he's really cool.

About the routine: the tasks are not hard, but they require attention to details and some of them have an specific order to be executed. Also, the volunteers can make their own schedule and choose their two-days off (perfect to plan small trips or just relax in some of the many parks nearby ♥). The accommodation: shared room (it has three bunks, TV, sofa, big table & terrace); kitchen & laundry are exclusive for volunteers & staff. I spent 12 weeks at the hostel, I'd definitely recommend it to those who wish new experiences, friends and personal growth!
