The experience

We are a small countryside hotel with 9 charming rooms in a rural and touristic area next to the sea. located in Alentejo next to a small village called Melides. We are a team of 7 people and in the high season, we receive 2 to 4 volunteers to help on different tasks. What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Between 25 and 30 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details


We need responsible persons with experience in maintenance that are not afraid to work hard and are able to help with manual work.
Maintenance, wood work, outdoor cleaning and gardening are the main tasks. Please apply only If you are motivated or have basic abilities on those areas.

Rules

The exchange between volunteers are allowed
Everything is included except drinks.
All the meals are included. Someone cooks for everyone, so, it is not possible to use the kitchen to cook your own meals. Drinks are not available except water, Coffee, milk and tea.
Lunch and dinner time are not included in the working hours.
Feel free to join all activities, meals, and classes
The bicycles are available, beach 6 to 7 km.
Swimming pool, use it in your free time.
