Volunteer at a hostel in Umbria

My time at the hostel was so special. It's one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever been. Amazing for walking or riding through the countryside, visiting cute villages, and having slow days. Duilio was a wonderful host who always made sure we were all good. I'm terms of the work, some days were very quiet and some were busier, but overall the work was very simple and well-communicated. I would say the experience is quite dependant on the other volunteers, as there aren't many other people the hang out with. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone :))

This was such an amazing first Worldpackers experience! the hostel is such a wonderful place. It's so peaceful and in a really beautiful area. The work is easy and shifts are flexible if you coordinate with the other volunteers. You have a lot of free time. It is a pretty secluded town as there is only two busses a day and they only run on weekdays. Getting out of the hostel is doable it just takes some planing. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful get away! Duilio was a great manager and was always willing to help if we needed anything!

I had a great time at the hostel! The place is beautiful, the hostel is cozy, and the work is easy. Getting around can be a bit tricky, but there are local buses and bikes you can use. It's a really peaceful and lovely place to relax. Thanks to Duilio and the team, and all the best to you! :)

It's an Incredibly beautiful place with lots of freedom to do what you please. Great for reading books, spending time on walks, that sort of thing. There's not much oversight or managing, mostly up to you and the other volunteers to make your schedule, cook meal, shop etc. overall great time, really thankful to have spent a month there.

This place is amazing! It's rare you go somewhere which looks better in real life than in pictures but Torre Del Colle is one of those places. The exchange was amazing and exactly as advertised with great volunteer accommodation and food. The tasks were also enjoyable too, being at the hostel in low season meant few guests and a manageable workload. Duilio was great, super chill and helpful whenever you needed anything :) Will definitely be back!

My time at the hostel was beyond words. While meeting locals and travelers I also felt like a I was in my second home. Duilio, an amazing host, taught us hostel operations. Located 3km from Bevagna and 10km from Foligno, transport requires planning. Despite this, I explored Perugia, Bologna, Verona, and more in 5 weeks. Grateful to Torre del Colle's wonderful people—Duilio, Nano, Ago, Jacob and fellow volunteers. Can't wait to return! Pd 1: I'm returning soon Pd 2: There's a beautiful cat around. Pd 3: Views of Assisi are lovely!
