My stay at the guest house was one that was initially very mixed but I learned and adapted over time. Shrek was amazing and helped me every step of the way through my stay here. He was a very understanding person and tries his best to make your stay here one you would never forget. I really liked the vibe here, and I got to know a lot of guests and staff here and I made a lot of friends and created a lot of new experiences that I would not have been able to recreate at home. I was able to experience the city of Seoul and explore many monuments during my stay here :)

Best hostel ever!! Staff is friendly, amenities are plentiful, cleanliness is top notch, very convenient location, and I can't forget to mention the heated floors in the deluxe rooms. Can't recommend enough. If you're considering at all, definitely stay here!

I had a good stay at the guest house and wish I could have stayed longer. Unfortunately I already have to leave after 1 month, nevertheless I would recommend this place for people that are looking for a place to stay in Seoul in a pretty good location. Work starts from 10:30 and goes until latest 3pm. But mostly you will finish earlier and the work is really not that hard. Food is also provided, including meat and vegetables, which is quite good.

I wouldn't recommend going there! Me and another volunteer left after 3 weeks. The room is tiny, overcrowded, and poorly maintained, with inconsistent heating and a window that won't close properly. The bathroom is shared, and there's often no hot water. Food is very basic. I was overworked, doing double shifts plus overtime, while guests were often drunk and messy. The boss was dismissive and pressured people into leaving good reviews. When I quit, he insulted me and kicked me out. Working conditions vs how much you get in return are not worth it. Character limit so text me for more details

This was my first worldpackers experience and it is definitely a good place to start! You get a safe network with the other volunteers and you also have the opportunity to get to know the guests at the hostel. I was never confused about my tasks so the work was pretty straight forward. Shrek and his wife saebyeog were very welcoming, giving suggestions on things to do and took care of their volunteers❤️ Thank you so much for having me and hopefully see you soon!!

Shrek is a really nice guy and his wife Saebyok was like a 2nd mom to me. I stayed for 2 months instead of 3 because I wanted to visit Japan and Shrek was really flexible. All the ingredients for cooking are provided so if you want to go really budget you can. If you don't know how to cook they have instant ramens or one of the other 8 volunteers will know how to cook😂 Also it says 4 hours of working time on the profile but during my stay in winter for 2 months straight I didn't have to work 4 hours a single day, we were always finished earlier. If you have any other questions, dm me

I stayed four months at the guest house and truly loved it here! Shrek and all the others loving members of the team made me feel so welcomed. I would recommend to everyone to stay here! The work is easy & you still have plenty of time to explore South Korea. At the guesthouse you can easily meet new people, apart from the other staff members. The location is great to go wherever and you will never be bored 🥳 thank you for everything 💖
