For my first experience on worldpackers it was fine, just a few things were off. Salvo and Reza were funny, welcoming, helpful, patient and nice. Unfortunately we had some drama in the group that altered my perception during my stay which didn't fully have to do with the hosts but a little and made me feel uncomfortable. In general I think the work is a lot, although it was communicated and there were incidents in which I was left alone didn't feel prepared for some tasks. Overall I still am grateful for the opportunity I was given, the people I met, places I've seen and things I learned.

Everything is agreed upon before your arrival, first through the comprehensive detailed description of the job you receive (about working hours, types of tasks and the workload) also again explained by Reza during the call before confirming everything! We clearly mention that this volunteering position is demanding but it's absolutely fair, as other volunteers have mentioned in their reviews, working hours are respected, the amount of work is not a surprise.

It was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't be better! The whole stuff was very welcoming and easy to talk to. Salvo and Reza made it unforgettable. With other volunteers we created our own little community. Tasks were the same as discussed beforehand. I hope to come back here someday!

I spent 7 weeks in UrbanPop and the worst part is that I had to leave. The hostel itself is beautiful and very clean, living conditions for volunteers are also very nice. The work is fair, easy and most of the time really chill. But what makes this experience so amazing and unique is the people who create this place. Salvo and Reza are truly the best hosts! Always there to chat with you, funny, but also really caring about the volunteers and keen on helping you if you ever have a problem. I can recommend this experience with all my heart.

My time at UrpanPop hostel was amazing! Salvo and Reza make the hostel welcoming and do it with such a good energy. You get to really feel at home. I got so many new friends from the other volunteers and guests. The job was also managable and hours always respected. I will cherish my time there dearly. Thank you for everything!!

My experience at the hostel was incredible, much better than I could have imagined! The entire team, managers, employees and volunteers were always very friendly and welcoming, they made me feel at home. The work is well organized, which allows you to have time to explore the city and the island. Reza and Salvo were perfect hosts, I just have to thank you, for always being attentive and trying to help. I highly recommend this experience. Thanks for everything!

The hostel was truly an incredible experience! Salvo and Reza make the stay memorable and are dedicated to making sure you have the greatest time possible. The tasks and hours are clearly laid out, Reza has high expectations of the completed work but it reflects in how clean and organized the hostel is. You have plenty of free time to walk around the city, go to the beach, or even travel to other cities. Thank you Salvo and Reza for the unforgettable time! :))

My time here was unforgettable. Reza is the perfect manager and Salvo's energy is unmatched. They made this experience truly worth it. It was my 2 experience and I don't know how any place should top this experience. Not only the hostel itself is beautiful, the work time was ALWAYS respected, mostly I even worked less. The friends I made here will forever be in my heart. I really wanna thank Salvo and Reza, I couldn't wish for better Hosts, always understanding and caring about you. If you look for a home away from home join them… I'll miss everything, especially the good food from the best restaurant near: McDonalds 😌

I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel. I got to meet incredible people, form a beautiful community with the other volunteers, and Salvo and Reza were super welcoming hosts. The communication from the beginning was excellent, with all the details about the workload and the hours, so there were no surprises. All the hours were respected and hot work but easy to handle. The location was ideal, close to the center, and it was easy to travel around Sicily by bus. It was my first wolrdpackers and I am so happy I got to spend part of my summer here I'll always remember it

Hi! The time that I spent in the hostel was lovely!! I've met amazing people (staff, volunteers and guests), had so muchh fun in the city and also in the hostel! Sicilia is amazing! The work schedule allowed me to explore Catania after work and Sicilia in my days off. The schedule is really well organized and the work is not hard! Also Salvo and Reza are the sweetest, they are always available to help! Highly recommend volunteering in the hostel! Big hugs to everyone
