The experience

Be part of the team that keeps our hostel fresh and cozy! You’ll help with cleaning rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas to make sure guests always feel comfortable. (All details can not be seen from the mobile app, so we recommend checking the profile on your private computer or laptop)

What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

1 day off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Fluent English or Beginner Italian

Between 18 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

You’ll work in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with plenty of time left to explore beautiful Catania, its beaches, and Mount Etna.

Tasks & Schedule:

Cleaning dorms and private rooms

Bathrooms and kitchen maintenance

Mopping and vacuuming common areas

Changing bed sheets and making beds

Helping with laundry if needed

🕓 Hours: 2.5 hours per day (10:30-13:00), 6 days a week (1 day off)
Skills gained: Teamwork, organization, efficiency, hostel operations
