Hello and welcome!
We are a warm and friendly Tanzanian family living on a small farm in Arusha, in the beautiful northern part of Tanzania — close to Mount Meru and the famous national parks. Our home is surrounded by green fields, fruit trees, and animals, and we love sharing this peaceful environment with visitors from around the world.
Our farm is a place where people come together to learn, share, and grow. We plant vegetables and fruits for our daily use, and we take care of several animals, including cows, pigs, chickens, and dogs. Most of the work is simple but meaningful — you’ll help with tasks like:
• Planting and watering vegetables and fruit trees
• Feeding and taking care of the animals
• Cleaning and maintaining the farm area
• Helping with small projects like composting, building animal shelters, or improving the garden
No special experience is needed — just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a love for nature and animals!
🏡 What You Can Expect
You’ll live together with our family and experience true Tanzanian hospitality. We share our meals, stories, and daily life with our volunteers, and we love exchanging ideas and cultures. You’ll also have the chance to learn some Swahili, cook local dishes, and take part in family and community activities.
Accommodation is simple but comfortable. You’ll have your own space or share with another volunteer, and we provide three meals a day — mostly fresh food from our farm.
We welcome people from all backgrounds and nationalities. Whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, or as a couple — you’ll always be part of our family while you’re here.
