Volunteering in Tolvsbo was a great experience. I met a wonderful team with which I worked smoothly and shared a lot of memorable moments! The whole place is surrounded by nature and right by the lake, although is a bit far from town, you'll have bikes to reach it. The main task is working in the restaurant, in the weekends and on festivities could be intense but the hosts will offer a shift system or more days off. Sometimes there could be little disagreements but after knowing each other for a while you'll know how to collaborate. In general I had a good time!!

I had the BEST experience in my life! Roswitha and fridus Are the kindest they opened their home and heart and made me feel so welcome! The place is so beautiful and calm, right for people who love rural places and nature. The work was really easy and well organized, most of the day I had free time to do whatever was on my mind like taking the bike or going to the lake. the highlight was being with the sweetest dogs I was lucky to arrive in time for the period with puppies I definitely coming back! thank you for everything roswitha and fridus 🤍

First of all: this is not a guest house anymore! Only a restaurant. I enjoyed my time there a lot and it was a really good first volunteering experience! I met amazing other volunteers. You will feel very welcome there and learn a lot from Fridus & Roswitha. The place is surrounded by beautiful nature with a lake. The tasks are usually easy and vary a lot, but on the weekend it's mainly kitchen work, which is very stressful on special occasions! On Easter we worked more hours without real breaks, but we had more free days after. All in all, i had a great time and i am very thankful<3.

I am really thankful for the time at Tolvsbo. I got the chance to learn a lot of new skills e.g. in carpentry, painting, decoration or how to bake bread. The work was so different every time but it was nice that you could also bring in your own strengths. This place helped me to calm down and enjoy the silence and the beautiful nature. Especially walking the dogs and playing with them made so much fun. Roswitha and Fridus are warm people and it felt like a big family. Thank you for this great first experience with world packers! Wishing you all the best and hope to see you again! ❤️

I was really glad that this was my first experience with worldpackers! Roswitha and Fridus are very welcoming and nice people. When coming you get to meet other volunteers (making pretty good friends ) and to do plenty of different tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, dog walks, and helping with house maintenance and art projects. It is doable and the rhythm is not excessive at all. It only gets a bit more stressful when the restaurant is open for special occasions but the good working atmosphere made it easier for me ;) the place is isolated and perfect for nature lovers. I recommend it :))

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay in Sweden! I loved the time I spent with the other volunteers, all our activities and inside jokes and I left the place with so many memories. The surroundings and especially the lake are super beautiful and peaceful, perfect for enjoying swedish summer. I learned a lot while working, but sometimes didn't like the rather disrespectful way of talking to people and explaining them things. A different tone would have changed a lot! :) The hosts are great at recognizing peoples personal strengths though and usually make sure that everyone enjoys their tasks.

I stayed a month in Sweden. Work hours are respected, can be more with the restaurant but it can be compensated by more days off. It's in the middle of the nature, not so much to do around specially when the weather is bad. When it's sunny, you can go explore with the bikes. Overall it was a good experience 👏🏽

I had a great time in Sweden ! It's a really polyvalent volunteering. You can do kitchen work, paint, clean, do outside work. Work is hard when the restaurant is open during easter. You work all day, you don't have a lot of time to take a break. Otherwise the restaurant is open on the week-end and it's calm. It's an experience close to the nature, far from everything. You have bikes at your disposal to go around. Unfortunately, I had a disagreement with Fridus. He apologized for it and I appreciate it. I've met nice volunteers and learned a lot. Thank you !

I had a truly wonderful time in Tolvsbo! I felt welcomed since the first day there, it really was a "home away from home" for me. Roswitha and Fridus are super lovely and kind, and super available to meet our needs and requests. The tasks were accorded beforehand, and the work in the kitchen was an awesome learning experience. I already miss the nature, the dogs, Roswitha and Fridus and all the volunteers so much!

I was in Tolvsbo for a month and had a wonderful time. Roswitha and Fridus are warm, friendly people who really care about everyone having a good time. Working with Roswitha is interesting and I was grateful to learn many new things. She is also very patient in teaching. I especially enjoyed the contact with the four awesome dogs, who quickly had a place in my heart. Tolvsbo and the surroundings were particularly beautiful in winter time and it was great to be able to discover the surroundings with the dogs and other volunteers. I really enjoyed the time and miss all the people and dogs :(
