Volunteering in this place has been one of the best decision ever. I was here while the restaurant was opened, so I could help in the kitchen and in the restaurant as a waiter. It was awesome to acquire new knowledge about food, and on how to deal with a quiet new restaurant's dynamics. The help, the tips, the kindness, and some glimpses of history about the place and the restaurant told by Roswitha and Fridus were the icing on the cake to make this experience unforgettable. Other than these, thank you to all the volunteers for creating lifelong memories. I really recommend this experience.

This place in the middle of sweden was truly magic. We had so much fun there and we made so many unforgettable memories and experiences. We felt so appreciated and there was so much kindness. The trip was really special for us.

We had a wonderful experience on our first volunteering, we would have stayed much longer. We were very comfortable, the place is incredible, and we are very grateful for the treatment and opportunity that the hosts gave us. Furthermore, we will greatly miss both the place and the people who accompanied us.

It was my second experience in Tolvsbo.❤️ I recommend it a lot! I returned to that place to feel that incredible connection with nature again. Roswitha and Fridus are suuuuch a lovely couple! I enjoyed staying at their place and having fun with other volunteers. I am in love with working in the kitchen with Roswitha. I got lots of kitchen tips that is so useful even in regular cooking situations at my home. It is so crazy how time flies. Last year I saw Svante was a little puppy and this year he is an adorable adult dog. I will miss so much this place😢 Tack så mycket för allt) ❤️

This experience has been unforgettable, the place was beautiful, most of the time we went to the lake to swim or hang out and we never got tired of being there. The sunsets were the most beautiful we have ever seen. The way Fridus and Roswitha treated us was always very good and we felt great at all times. We liked the work very much and Roswita showed it to us very well and was very kind. We also took with us a very nice memory of the friendships we made there. We recommend it to everyone as it is an experience that you have to live at least once in your life.

I had the best time with Fridus and Roswitha in Tolvsbo! They were both sooo incredibly kind and generous, it really was an amazing experience. I mostly helped in the kitchen, where we prepared all the food for the restaurant. The tasks were all split equally between the volunteers and sometimes we could also leave early if we finished all our tasks faster than expected/ if the restaurant was not as full. The atmosphere at Tolvsbo was so nice and welcoming. Walking the dogs was so much fun and I'll miss them a lot, as well as the whole place:) I can only recommend!!!

I really enjoyed my stay in Tolvsbo, it was an amazing experience. Roswitha and Fridus were both really kind and welcoming as well as Swante, Rävi, Ylva and Björne !!! The Place is amazing, surrounded by beautiful lakes and forests with great sunsets most of the nights! The work in the restaurant was great fun, i learned many kitchen skills from Roswitha and we always had very good food :) In my freetime i enjoyed going for swims in the lake, cycle, bake or spending time with other volunteers. I will miss the dogs and everything!! thanks a lot, i had a really good time!!!

My stay at the guest house was perfect! Fridus and Roswita were not just welcoming, but genuinely kind-hearted, patient and loving ! The tasks assigned were fair and manageable, allowing me to contribute without feeling overwhelmed and the working hours were respected. The serene countryside is beautiful and the place is quiet and resourceful. I 100% recommend going to the guest house! <3

I had such an amazing time here with Roswitha and Fridus. They are lovely people and very welcoming. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. During my stay I helped to prepare and cook food but also walk the dogs which are very friendly and cute. I learned a lot of different things there, both about myself and how to manage a restaurant . It was really enriching ! In addition to that, the volunteers that I met there were very friendly and had much fun together. I would definitely recommend this place ! Thank you all for this amazing and unforgettable experience :)
