My time went by so fast here! Their dogs were super friendly and the puppies were adorable. Roswitha and Fridus are very nice people and the food is amazing! Also the lake is very close and easy to get to, sometimes I would go to swim and cool off after a good day of work!

I had a fantastic time here with Fridus and Roswitha for 1 month. We most of the time worked outside with my friend Théo on different activities with Fridus. Sometimes we had to help Roswitha in the kitchen to prepare some food stuff. Beside, walking dogs was the most pleasant thing to do, and that every morning ! It was also a good experience about meeting other people from all around the world, and I will keep some good memories for those who were with me in Tolvsbo ! Thank you so much, and don't forget : Smaklig måltid !

We've had an incredible time here. The 3 weeks we stayed there flew by. We helped in the kitchen and we also did some outdoor jobs for Fridus. It's amazing to be part of the flow/the team on busy restaurant days. The restaurant is also a very cosy place to sit and hang out. Cannot recommend this more :)) We'll miss Roswitha, Fridus, the other volunteers and the dogs and cats <3

I stayed four weeks with Fridus and Roswitha and they made me feel at home. I slept in a caravan nearby their house in which other volunteers stayed too. The food we were given was always amazing and our work would only get exhausting on the weekends or on special events, which was Easter during my stay in Tolvsbo. But Roswitha was always understanding and would give room for breaks in between those few long days we had. All in all, my stay in Tolvsbo was great, I got to learn a lot and would recommend it, if you want to learn more about the work in a professional kitchen and work outside :)

I had an amazing time in Tolvsbo. The restaurant was closed but there was stil enough to do. Fridus and Roswitha were so kind and really made me feel at home at theire place. One of my favorite things to do was walk the dogs (they were so sweet) in the beautifull serroundings.

We came to this place in couple, it was our second experience. Our planning was great and Fridus and Roswhita were very flexible. We got the time to install befor start working. The organisation was good and respected. The dinner together the evening were very nice. Fridus and Roswhita are careful and symphatic. We felt like home in their place. It was a real pleasure to give them some help in this so authentic place. Thank very much.

A great experience! Fridus&Roswitha are incredibly kind people. They do so much more than welcoming volunteers and it was inspiring meeting them. The work (in the kitchen) was a bit more tiring than expected since it was Christmas season, so we would work most days more than 5h/day. However, the great vibe we had in the team made everything easier and enjoyable. The restaurant and the house where we sleep are very cosy. The nature is breathtaking and there's a lot to explore. I am very grateful for everything I learned with all the amazing people I met. It felt like a family since day one!

I hace stayed for 4 Weeks. I went with my couple. I recommend you by couple.The restaurant is on the middle of nothing, the surroundings are very beautiful, the lake, trees. I applied for chopping wood,stay with dogs. But almost all the work time I stayed at the kitchen, and I dont like cooking. Despite of this the experience of meeting new people of all around the world was amazing. Roswitha And Fridus are good people and respect the schedule of work hours. There were not any free tour, the only thing that you can do to visit some village is to take the bycicles that they lend to you.

It was my first experience in Worldpackers and it's been great! The place is so beautiful, it's situated in the middle of the forest and that's amazing! There's a lot of nature, lakes, animals… And the restaurant and house are so cozy, I had my own room. I worked 5 days 5 hours as it's indicated here. And the food was sooo good. It was great to meet new people from other countries and to spend time all together! Moreover Roswitha and Fridus are so nice! They helped me a lot. I'd recommend that place to everyone! :)

My experience with roswitha and fridus couldn't have been better. they're incredibly kind, respectful and open-minded people. prepare yourself for amazing international encounters, lots of learning about cooking, sustainability and swedish culture and nature (among other things !)
