This was my first time travelling alone and volunteering and it was absolutely wonderful! I had so much fun working in the kitchen, Roswitha was always very patient with me and I learned a lot from both her and Fridus. I also really enjoyed that we always spent the evenings together and I made some good friends during my time here :) Tolvsbo and its surroundings are so beautiful and it is a really nice place to enjoy the Swedish nature. The three weeks that I spent here went by way too fast and I couldn't have had a better experience! Thank you so much for everything <3

Fridus and Roswitha were my first hosts and I couldn't ask for more on this experience. I applied for gardening and I ended up being in the kitchen and with the hosts... but what an amazing experience! I really learned a lot of everything, and even I made a lot of mistakes, they never lost the faith in me. Thanks for being so pacient (specially you Roswitha) and kind to me, I felt even better than at home. Thanks as well to all the volunteers who I shared time and card games with, and to all the people I met on Tolbsvo. I will definetly recommend this place to everybody! Kind regards!💕

Without any doubt, one of my favourite things was meet amazing people from around the world. Also, the landscape is wonderful and there are many activities outdoors to do. Working with Roswitha in the kitchen is so comfortable because she has many patience when she's explaining the job. I liked when I spent more time with her and I felt that she relied on my decisions and responsability. Unfortunately, I didn't spend so much time with Fridus working, but we could have nice conversations during dinner with all the team. He always have something wise to say. Personally, I'd like to return

Couldn't ask for a better place for my first worldpacker experience! Fridus and Roswitha are such nice and lovely hosts and they made me feel very welcome in their home. I've shared good moments with them and their adorable dogs, as well as with the other volunteers. The work is well organized and not hard and you get time to relax and explore the surroundings; if you are looking for a relaxing and quiet place you have to go to Tolvsbo. Thank you very much Fridus and Roswitha for this experience, I'll never forget you and my time at your place!

I really liked the place. All the volunteers were nice, we played a lot of games and Fridus and Roswitha really stimulated this community feeling among the volunteers. I do have to add that Roswitha can be impolite sometimes in the kitchen when she is stressed, which I didn't like. Obviously no one is perfect, but I should give an honest review. I hold no grudges, and I also think Roswitha herself probably, in retrospect, didn't like the way she reacted in certain situations. All in all, would recommend!

My first Worldpacker-experience and it was great. Good amount of work and the work was fun. I helped out in the kitchen and served food in the restaurant. Friendly atmposhere, we had dinner and played games together every night. You really are like a family. Nice surroundings for walks, biking and swimming in the lake.

My experience with Fridus and Roswitha was amazing and of course I recommend them! They are so nice, they want to learn you a lot of thing with patience even when we are stressed. I learnt a lot with them about sustainability, social, different way of life. In this little coustryside there are so much of tolerance! Their 3 dogs are so lovely, you can walk the dogs when you want for long or by bike. I definitely recommend this experience and I'll will remember this my whole life. The Restaurant is located in an amazing place, surrounded by forests,lakes and deers! The place itself is beautiful but what it makes it special are Fridus and Roswita 🙂 They are so friendly and hospitable that makes you feel at home during the whole stay. They also have 3 lovely dogs with which you can go for long walks and have the chance to explore this incredible place. I had the chance to learn and do tasks about the restaurant business, how to work in the kitchen and also other things such as painting and taking care of 7 cute puppies😊 The best volunteering I have done!
