As a volunteer, you will capture the energy and impact of workshops, classes, and community activities through photos, videos, and written stories.

Program Details

As a volunteer, you will capture the energy and impact of workshops, classes, and community activities through photos, videos, and written stories. You’ll help manage social media pages, produce engaging posts, and craft content that inspires others to join our mission. Your work will showcase the positive change our programs bring to local communities and highlight cultural exchange in action.

This program is not just about creating content—it’s about immersing yourself in Moroccan culture, connecting with students and volunteers, and amplifying voices that matter. You will gain practical experience in storytelling, social media management, and media production while making a tangible impact in education and community development.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers in this role will actively contribute to documenting, promoting, and sharing the impact of our educational and training programs. Key activities include:

Content Creation ✍️

Writing blog posts, articles, and social media captions to showcase programs.

Drafting promotional materials (newsletters, posts, reports).

Brainstorming creative ideas to improve storytelling and outreach.

Photography & Videography 📸🎥

Capturing photos of workshops, classes, and community events.

Filming short videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) highlighting activities.

Editing videos and photos to create engaging, shareable content.

Social Media Management 📱

Posting content on Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.

Monitoring engagement and suggesting improvements.

Coordinating with team to plan weekly content schedules.

Collaboration & Reporting 🤝

Sharing content drafts with the team before publication.

Helping document program outcomes and success stories.

Working with other volunteers to ensure coverage of all activities.

⏰ Shifts & Weekly Schedule

Working Hours: 4–5 hours per day (flexible).

Days Off: 2 days per week (flexible, can be used to explore Marrakech or nearby sites).

Example Schedule:

Morning (9:00 – 12:30): Capture photos/videos of ongoing workshops or community activities.

Lunch & Break 🍲

Afternoon (1:30 – 3:30/4:00): Edit videos, write content, schedule posts, or brainstorm new ideas.

Optional Evening Tasks: Attend special events or capture additional social media content if needed.

The schedule is flexible and designed to allow volunteers to balance creative work with cultural immersion and exploration.
