Volunteering at the school was so much fun. The children are very sweet, playful and want to get to know you. Also Ansari and his wife were very kind and helped me good. They even asked me to come eat with them or go to the market several times. You only need to be aware that the accommodation is not like the “European” standards. They have two places , one is further away from Ansari his house and the school so it is more lonely. The other one is a room in the school which's more sociable because you live next to him but is further away from the 'busier life'. It is very authentic so if you

If you go to this place, make sure he will provide you everything he is offering. I came there only because it would probably be a really nice experience teaching English for kids. Because the city itself has nothing to offer. I got there on Friday and Monday was a holiday. He told me we would meet on Tuesday. He was supposed to provide me lunch and dinner everyday of my stay. When I got there he told me I would have free food only the days I'm working. The room was so hot, 3 fans were not enough. I was sweating the whole time. The house has no sink to brush your teeth or do the dishes.

We are so sad because of this review. Since we have hosted on this platform, this is the first time we've got a complain about all those little things.

1. About meals provided; we go through the WP website and when we choose "lunch provided", the part that says "You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay" would appear automatically. We couldn't change by ourselves. It comes from the website system.

But again, it was our fault that we didn't tell you from the first time. We have to apologize.

2. The room is hot, but to say three fans couldn't help is clearly exagerating. We have hosted many volunteers over years, no one has ever complained about that. Instead, they could adapt themselves with it and focus on the more important things.

3. We don't have a sink for you to brush your teeth and wash the dishes, but there are places in the house that you can do those things without making your life misirable.

Number 2 and 3 is how we live here in our village and we believe that our volunteers could learn from it.

However, we would see the positive side on this review. So volunteers who want to join us, please make sure that you could stay with us in spite all those little things.😄

Ansari takes care about you as a member of the family. The project he is leading works really good, the kids are able to speak English fluently and the natural environment is amazing🥰 The kids play outdoors and enjoy the nature! There are two more women helping at the school and nothing would be the same without them! Will miss you 😘 About the food, when his mum cooks, is amazing! The best chef i had the pleasure to enjoy in my travel! Arroi ma! 🥰 Keep rocking🤘🏾

My experience was outstandingly great! Ansari was such a accommodating, generous and super helpful host. Though my volunteering time length was short and limited, I truly wished that I could have stayed longer as the overall experience was pleasant in terms of engaging with students who are eager, not obliged, to learn. I would highly recommend and advise giving this place your time if you're seeking a different exposure to a simple way of life and a really friendly community that just wants, enjoys, and appreciates your company and presence.

First of all I want to thank Ansari and alle the people that were involved. The time at the school/school was one of my best experiences on my travels. You get to learn so much about the kids, the locals life and yourself. The children, their parents and all the other people around were so friendly and made my time here unforgettable. The school itself is located in a quiet village but there's still a lot to explore. We also did so excursions to different places and nice viewpoints. You also get a lot of free-time and nobody forces you to anything. Thanks for this amazing weeks :)

I don't have words to describe how wonderful was this experience. The kids are amazing, Ansari is amazing, Ansari's family is amazing... They did everything to make me feel at home. If you were thinking about applying to work there, do it now; You won't regret. I can't wait to go back.

I cannot put into words how beautiful my time here was. Everyone was so welcoming and hospitable. If you are wanting to escape from the tourist traps and experience authentic culture I highly recommend volunteering here. Ansari was a wonderful host and always made sure I was happy. He even lent me his motorcycle to explore the area during my time off. I was a solo female traveler and within the local community I felt very safe. The kids were hilarious and I will miss everyone so much. Thanks again for everything, I wish I would have been able to stay longer.
