The experience

We are looking for experienced educators with a passion to help us plan and execute creative workshops/camps music, circus, recycled art, languages, etc. who would like to stay at least two months to bring her/his experience to this project.
We need support that want to help us grow. Are you creative, flexible, innovative, good skilled and with an interest for conservation issues and environmental education.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Music: Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Requirements

Intermediate English and Fluent Spanish

Between 27 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Help us with our weekly program and work with local kids between 6-10 in our Casita Caribe! Art, music, circus, sport, environmental topics and much more. We are also interested to write content for publications! We are an environmental oriented organization and are looking for people interested in making a difference.

Activities & Shift

We are looking for support in planning and executing workshops, activities and excursions with the kids! Usually, 5h per day which can be distributed in between house chores and volunteer position. Shifts vary, 2 days off per week to explore the area and enjoy beach life, connecting with the wonderful nature around us!

Rules

We don't allow alcohol or drug use, neither sexual harassment or relationships with our customers at the volunteer house. Working with children requires positive and caring attitude.
