Program Details

Homestays with host families in Spain (Madrid, Málaga, Murcia, La Coruña, Vigo, etc.)

There is no compensation, this is an Accommodation Exchange

Middle-class families in Madrid and elsewhere in Spain, offer full board (free meals
and accommodation) with your own room in the family's home. This offer mostly applies to English speakers from the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. (Although it might be open to non-Natives of English if they have a flawless accent).

Most people who take advantage of this are typically under 30 years old. This is usually what families request.

Host families can't wait to have Native English Speakers over so they can practice English at home!

In exchange all you need to do is engage in conversational English for 2 hours every evening with the host family, Monday to Thursday. You can do your own thing during the day and Friday to Sunday!

Activities & Shift

2h of English teaching on a daily basis from Monday to Thursday. Teaching is mostly and usually dedicated to the family's children
