It was my first time travelling with worldpackers. I stayed for two weeks at the guest house B&B. John is a friendly person, with lots of stories and he is a really great cook :). The tasks consists of serving the guests, cleaning the rooms and bathrooms and ironing. The landscape is beautiful and there are a lot of places that you can visit during your free time. I loved to learn about different cultures from John and the other volunteer. Thank you

John is an outstanding host. I'm glad the guest house B&B was my first Worldpacker trip. It is a home away from home experience as you feel welcomed and at ease. The tasks are straightforward and are carried out in the first half of the day (serving, cleaning, ironing, etc). John is very helpful here. I also had the opportunity to learn a lot about Ireland's history & the Irish people. We bonded over music, geography and a pint of Guinness. If you show an effort to be proactive, he'll definitely go the extra mile to make sure you have a rewarding experience. He's an excellent chef, thank you!

My experience at the guest house has been wonderful. John is a very friendly man who is always willing to tell you stories about his village and his travels. I have great memories of the dinners that I shared with him and the other two volunteers. It has been an excellent opportunity for cultural exchange. The tasks consist of serving breakfast, cleaning bedrooms, and ironing. No need to be an expert - if John sees that you're making an effort, he'll do his best to make you feel at home. Thanks a lot, John! (Note: the dates of my trip are wrong, I stayed there in August 2021).

If you are looking for a quiet and nature place, is a very good experience. In your free days, you can go to visit Ireland. In your working days you can walk sorrounding and connect with yourself and with the beautiful landscapes. The tasks that you have to do are exactly which there are in the description, but some days you can help John with his apartment. John is a nice person and he does all the best for you to have a good and comfortable experience!! Thanks for all, for your delicious meals and for being who you are with the Worldpackers!! I hope all the wishes for you, John!

It all started well, but in the end I was traumatized, humiliated and without a place to stay. John was friendly at first. But he kept putting me down. I did everything I could to help, but one day, after cleaning the dishes, I stopped for one minute to text my husband saying I was ok and John started screaming at me saying I wasn't doing my jog. He was rude before that too. I felt so helpless, I just had to get out of there. The place was isolated so there were no taxis to get out. Thank God someone appeared and gave me a ride. It was truly an experience I wish I never had.

I spent two weeks in the guest house and it was even better than expected. It was my first time as volunteer, so in the beginning I was a bit scared, but when I got there it was like being home. The host, John, is a very charismatic, sincere and authentic person. He welcomed me and the other two volunteers as if he knew us for a long time. Through his stories and traditions I experienced the authentic Ireland. The landscape around the b&b is really fascinating. As regards the tasks, the work is done mainly in the morning and it corresponds to the description of the project. Thank you!

It was my first experience with worldpacker and thanks to John it was a great first experience ! I was with 2 other volunteers and there was a very good ambiance. From the beginning to the end of my stay, John never stopped to do his best so that I enjoy the most. He adviced me what to visit and he lent me his bike ! Otherwise, John loves cooking! We ate very well every day, breakfast lunch and dinner were always perfect ! I really appreciated the mix of culture, with John who likes talking about irish history and also with other volunteers. We just had to work in the morning and we were fre

Great experience and location as it's a quick walk to the beach. If you love to the ocean and enjoy swimming this is a great place to be. Jhon, the host is an amazing cook and has an adorable dog. Overall, it was a great experience for my first time doing Worldpackers.

The guest house has been my first experience in worldpackers and the best choice I could ever have done. John is a great host and to work with him is easy. I've learned about Ireland history and culture, and I've discovered amazing places!! And I've learned much more about myself. I'll come back to Ireland for sure, the atmosphere all around is indescribable, you have to live it by yourself. I highly recommend this experience!! No doubts, just do it!! And don't hesitate, ask me anything you want to know and I'll try to help you as much I can. Sláinte!!
