I had a great experience at the farm, both Katrin and Sile are great hosts and really welcoming, the work was explained clearly and katrin always cleared up anything that I didn't understand. I learned a lot about the local life with Katrin giving me lots of opportunities to mix with locals and go to events. I really enjoyed my time and would highly recommend to others.

First volontary with WorldPacker was with Katrin and it couldn't have been in a better place. This farm is super nice, calm, and Katrin is a very good teacher. From cleaning the goat's poop to making cheese, while also helping with some fixing, social media, markets, or in the kitchen during events, you won't be bored and you'll be able to learn about various topics/tasks. She is very punctual and always makes sure that you don't do more than 5hours a day, which i liked. Katrin, thank you so much for your kindness, your patience and for sharing some of your knowledge, I really had a good time!

Even though I only spent a week at Katrin's farm, I was warmly welcomed, and the time flew by. If you enjoy being in nature and spending time with animals, this is the perfect place for you. I look forward to coming back someday.

You really get what you signed up for at Katrin's place. And I mean that in the best way possible. The atmosphere at the farm is welcoming and the tasks you perform feel meaningful and really connect you with nature. It's the perfect opportunity to get down to earth if you come from a busy place like Santiago or just immerse yourself with animals and people alike. Katrin is a warm-hearted host and it feels like you're part of the project and not like you're just a bystander helping here and there. I recommend anyone to come here that wants to experience the local culture and nature of Chile.

We were supposed to stay here 20 days but at the end we end up to stay here for more than 2 months! The experience was awesome, we felt welcome at Katrin's house from the moment we arrived at the farm! The days flew, lot of things to learn and to do, it was nice to get in touch with nature and all the animals (goats, dogs,cats..). Katrin is a very patience person who explained us all the things and let us learn more about the granja life! I would recommend this experience to people who loves nature and animals. I will keep this experience in my heart💜

This was Chris' and my first volunteer experience and it was fantastic! Katrin is so knowledgeably about the organic industry and treats her animals and us like family. We learnt a lot about taking care of animals such as goats, geese and chicken! Also about cheese production. It's a beautiful peaceful environment to be in, with work as is described on her listing. We ended up extending our stay and we're sad to say goodbye. Until next time. Big love 💕

Me es difícil explicar en palabras lo que esta experiencia significó para mí, ya que hay emociones y sentimientos que no pueden ser expresados en palabras. Personalmente aprendí muchísimo y tuve un desarrollo personal muy significativo, me tuve que enfrentar a desafíos y actividades que jamás en mi vida había hecho, siempre tuve su apoyo, paciencia y enseñanza, cometí algunos errores, pero siempre se me agradecía mi labor, lo que agradezco enormemente. Me llevo en mi corazón todo lo que aprendí tanto de las personas como de las actividades y de la vida del campo, una experiencia inolvidable.

Katrin es una gran mujer que realiza una hermosa labor en the farm, el espacio habitacional es agradable y acogedor, ideal para desconectarse y conectar con uno. Es una excelente cocinera y muy trabajadora. Agradezco la estadía en el hogar y el cariño de todos los animales de la granja, sobre todo alma, Schmua y Silvestre, además de las cabritas adorables 🥰

The farm es un lugar muy muy tranquilo. Realmente bueno para desconectarse un poco de la vida agitada, y conectar con la naturaleza y los animales. Hay un horario establecido de trabajo. Katrin es fija con él. Prefiere que no se modifique, aunque igual puede estar abierta a flexibilidades. Agradezco su gentileza de permitirme hacer un cambio en las horas de mis actividades en algunos días. Hay muchas actividades diferentes con las que ayudar en el campo. Me hubiese gustado que Katrin me hubiese comunicado bien todas las reglas de la estadía, y el uso de la lavadora, entre otros.

Una parte de mi corazón se quedó en la granja. Esta experiencia sembró mucho en mi. Katrin con su bonita energía, sus recetas, su amor por los animales y su estilo de vida, me hizo sentir como en un retiro para conectar conmigo y con mi amor por la naturaleza y los animales. La admiro por su compromiso con la granja y por la figura de empoderamiento en la que me vi reflejada. Voy a extrañar el olor a leña, el rico sazón para cocinar de la sra. Margarita y de Katrin, las mañanas escuchando a las bandurrias, al Silvestre, Aquino, Alma, Rocky, Shmua, las cabras y todos los animalitos🫶🏼
