Amazing experience! I had the opportunity not only to improve my working skills, but also to meet international volunteers with which I shared a lot and learned a lot from. Cristina is really caring and nice and she welcomed me amazingly! The guesthouse is near the beach and is located in the center of Alvor which is a very nice and lively place at any time, afternoon and evening. I enjoyed the experience and the wonderful landscape!

This was my first experience and it was fantastic! We are 6 volunteers and we have to prepare a buffet for breakfast at 8:00 and then we help Cristina to clean, tidy and control check outs and checks in.

Cristina and the other employees are all super helpful, friendly, and fun. The other volunteers were incredibly nice and sociable, making for a great experience. Work is not too hard and very flexible. Easy access to the beach, other cities, and boat/kayak adventures.

My experience at the guest house was really good! The work was easy and I had a wonderful time with the other volunteers. At one moment I got the flue unfortunately, but Cristina and her husband were very nice to me: they gave me medicines and I could have some time off from the volunteering. Alvor is also a nice place to stay: it's a cute little town and close to the beach.

This volunteer experience was absolutely amazing! I had a great time at Alvor! Cristina is very friendly you will feel like home from the very beginning. My main job was to make breakfast, that was easy to do and we had a lot of fun. I also really enjoyed meeting so many other volunteers from all over the world. You can practice your language skills and do something together. There's a beach where you can go and some small villages to explore. You can also da little hike at the coast. It was my first Worldpackers experience and I definitely recommend it.

Our experience was really good. Tasks are simple and if you finish before you can have free time. Cristina is very energic so be prepared! But she's super funny too. We met a lot and friendly people.

My time at the guest house was amazing, I couldn't have asked for more. The location of the guesthouse is perfect, and the accommodations are comfortable. Cristina and her husband are incredible hosts and lovely people, who ensure that you're never hungry:) If you're looking for a way to experience the Algarve in a quiet, beautiful location, this is the perfect place.

A nice place, but I didn't know I would be the only english speaker in the team. This thing made me feel very left out and made me leave after one day. Also the hostel is closed and the work is done at other place.

Our stay at the guest house was our first voluntary experience. The tasks were different than expected because at our arrival the hostel was closed, so we had to do some other stuff like helping to clean the house, garden and the garage. It was a surprise every day because we were not told our tasks beforehand, but only when they were to be done. The tasks were not sophisticated and we didn't worked all the 5 hours. We had a lot of fun with the other volunteers. Alvor is a very nice village with a lot of bars and restaurants and the beach is only a few minutes away. It was great, thank you! :)

I met some great people during this trip. The other volunteers welcomed me with open arms. The place is really clean and modern. One of the things I didn't like that we sometimes wouldn't get any informations about our tasks before hand, they would just tell us “come with us” rather then explaining where we going, how long I will have to stay and to give me time to collect my things to take with me
