Organic farming while enjoying a vivid community life in Lower Saxony!
The experience
We're a community of about 100 people (30 children included) and another 30 special needs or behavioural problems children and young people who live with us. We live in the midst of lovely woods and farmland close to the river Elbe in Northern Germany. We try to create a place where life, friendship, knowledge and nature mingle in the most beautiful way possible – you'll meet a lot of young people, tons of things to do, fun all along!
What you offer
32 hours of help per week
Animal Care:
Help look after and take care of animals.
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.

You can use our bikes any time you want.

We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Activities & Shift
Here you will meet many young people, work on a variety of projects related to the community, and have fun together! You can experience our community lifestyle through many different types of work: organic farming, taking care of animals (cattle, horses, sheep, donkeys, goats, pigs, fowl, etc.), construction work, gardening in our parks and flower gardens, cooking in our community kitchen, child care, and other types of help.
