Despite coronavirus impacting on the teaching at the school, James still made sure we had as good a time as possible. The students I did teach were amazing to teach and hang out with. The accomodation is basic but comfortable and the private space for volunteers was much appreciated. The food was also delicious and the ability to use the bikes for free throughout the stay was extremely useful. I met some amazing people, both volunteers and locals, in Hai Phong and I recommend the school to anyone thinking about going there.

Overall a great experience. James, his family, and the other volunteers were super welcoming and friendly. Very genuine and kind people. I definitely made some life long friends :) Great way to experience the Vietnamese culture in Hai Phong. I liked that there weren't many tourists in the city. There's not too much to do in Hai Phong if you're staying for long, so it's more like living & working like the locals. I think organization and communication can improve, but with the worlds current events and schools being closed, it made it a little difficult. Overall, loved it!

My time at the school was/is awesome! You're part of one the school family that really cares about each other! The atmosphere is warm, friendly and open-minded. The living space gives you energy to become a creative soul and relax! Teaching the students was a great experience! They are smart and enjoy learning :)

The school is an amazing center with great students and great staff. You get to meet so many new people at the beautiful and relaxed hostel. I had the best time at the school and anybody thinking of going definitely should.

It was a wonderful stay with memory hostel and the school volunteers with great home cooked food, awesome team mates and local friends. Experienced local culture with immense joy and also got a chance to explore beautiful Vietnam. Definetly will recommend to everyone and would want to come back again soon :)

The people at the center are really nice. You get to live in a house with other volunteers and Marky, who is the nicest and craziest person :) Food is amazing. The assistants and students are mostly welcoming. Hai Phong doesn't have much to see but it's like living the every day life of locals.
