Program Details

You will help us organise camp activities and lead them, which means setting them up, giving instructions, playing with participants, teaching some skills, encouraging positive energy and good behaviours, ensuring safety, and cleaning up (with participants support). You will have the opportunity to go with groups of children to some day trips where you get to experience life outside Camp while being co-responsible for their safety and enjoyment.

Activities that you would like to lead and prepare can vary from quick icebreaker games to a more structured session or project. Depending on your skills, experience, and level of confidence we invite you to lead: Arts & Crafts workshops, Dancing or Fitness sessions, other languages workshops or meditation sessions, personal development workshops with team building challenges, and any other appropriate and empowering ideas you may have.

Activities & Shift

You will join one of our Programs each week (English, Life Skills, Around the World, Sports or Games) as an active member of a team, and you will work together to develop quality sessions that fulfill your program’s goals. All campers have four activity blocks per day (you will be in 2 of them) and after dinner we all co-lead the Evening Program (every day is different, we will have contests, talent show, campfire, carnival, etc.). We have a meeting every evening to clarify next day’s agenda and responsibilities. The remaining time is your time off. As a support role, once a week, you may supervise campers during all breaks and lead a warmup session (normally 4 to 6 staff members per day), which gives you the opportunity to connect with all campers, have some chill conversations with them as you provide needed assistance in specific locations, and make sure all participants follow the co-existence agreements.
