I really enjoyed my stay in Santiago. It is a fairly small village with a lot of beautiful nature in surrounding areas. My working schedule was very flexible and I had plenty of time to explore. It is a very quiet town during the week, so it's a good chance to get some peace of mind.

This was my first worldpackers experience and it was truly amazing! Armando (the host) was very relaxed and wasn't demanding at all. The work hours were very flexible with a lot of free time to go explore. The hostel is very beautiful and the city is calm and quite. The only con was the refrigerator stopped working and we couldn't use the washing machine. Other than that I highly recommend this.

The hostel was my first WP experience and it was the perfect first experience. Armando is a great host—he communicates well, is very attentive and provides a flexible work schedule. The hostel is in a great location; right in town, across from a cute park, and very near mountains & water. Would absolutely recommend this experience.

The hostel was a great first time WP experience for me. It's in a great location, surrounded by nature. Santiago is such a charming city where you can really feel how the locals love their town. There were many festivals, parades and street music events happening just a short walk away. My tasks were what I agreed. I saw improvements to the kitchen and co-work space while there.

A good experience with a communicative host. The tasks were exactly as agreed and the host respects your free time. He's always busy but he's helpful giving great advice on hiking activities in the area. The place is in a nice suburban area of Monterrey, not a real village, but more of a weekend destination for urbanites. The hostel is nice and improving every day, wifi is good so it's an option for digital nomads, the small cooking area is improving little by little, and there are fans in the shared room but no lockers. I'd recommend for nature/hiking lovers and those looking to work online

Well this was my first worldpackers experience and it was okay. I painted a few days and did have lots of down time which was good because I had been having busy summer. If you want to visit Monterrey bus is only 15 pesos. No ac in rooms but fans helped lull me to sleep. Make sure to take pesos already because ATM charges extra fees. overall I enjoyed meeting host and other world packers!

The hostel was my first world packers experience. The hostel was beautiful and situated near everything you need. There was a park across the street, several restaurants, a market, and a bus station near by. As the host states the place is very quiet during the week therefore I recommend this experience for individuals who are looking for solitude. Also there is no air conditioning or heat in the bunks but they did provide a fan. So just be mindful of that. Armando was nice and the work load was light.
