Help animals and work while enjoying a paradise island life!
The experience
If you want to help animals and work on a Paradise Island, this is for you. We need our volunteers to be 100% reliable, responsible and have the animal's welfare on their list of priorities at all time. Failure to turn up will impact the island's animals heavily. Some daily tasks:
- Feeding all in-patients
- Cleaning kennels
- Laundry
- Poo picking
- Dog walking
- Socializing animals
- Baths to in patients
- Assisting with patients restrain
What you offer
30 hours of help per week
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Description:
If you can't commit to 5 full shifts while living on-site then a donation is required
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Here is a list of the daily tasks which could be performed. Please do not think that this is a rolling about on the floor with puppies kind of place, we are a hospital with very sick animals only.
- Feeding all in-patients
- Cleaning kennels
- Laundry
- Poo picking
- Dog walking
- Socializing animals
- Tick-picking & spraying
- Giving treatment to ill or recovering animals
- Assisting the nurse & patient restraint
- Catching & transporting stray animals
- Photography
- Instrument scrubbing
- Driving a stick car
- Not squeamish around blood
- Mending and fixing and more!
Activities & Shift
8.30-16.30pm, 5 days a week, flexible shifts and this is reduced if we have lots of day volunteers coming in.
Rules
No alcohol or drugs on site, no outside guests in volunteer's area, turn up for your agreed shift.
