The experience

We’ve been lovingly running our glamping in Holbox for over 6 years, and here we live as a small family and community.

We’re looking for someone to support us with:
• Daily maintenance of the camping
• Improving the space (especially woodwork and small projects)
• Monthly maintenance tasks

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

1 day off per week

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate Spanish and Beginner English

Over 25 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

In exchange for your own tent and a bit of money for food monthly we will ask you to work 4 hours a day, 6 days a week. We can talk about the working hours.

Activities & Shift

Daily maintenance of the glamping, outdoor and garden work, small repairs, painting projects, bike repairment and general improvement of the space.

Rules

Use of drugs (including smoking weed) is prohibided.
It’s not allowed to invite guests for the nights.
