The experience

The program aims to keep the church clean, orderly, and welcoming as a sign of reverence to God. Cleaning the church is a form of service, humility, and worship, showing love for God’s house and respect for those who come to pray.

What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 20 Per day

Description: The fee contributes for both accommodation & food

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Fluent English

Between 18 and 70 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Activities & Shift

Sweeping and mopping the church floor
Cleaning windows and doors
Dusting chairs, benches, pulpit, and instruments
Cleaning the altar area respectfully
Arranging chairs and church materials
Cleaning the church surroundings (yard, toilets if available)
