The experience

The Law & Legal Internship Program provides students and aspiring legal practitioners with practical exposure to community-based legal work and human rights advocacy. The program is designed to bridge academic knowledge with real-life legal and social justice issues affecting vulnerable individuals in the community.


What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 20 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: The fee is for accommodation and food


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent English

Between 18 and 70 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

Interns support activities such as legal awareness campaigns, basic legal research, documentation, case referrals, and community education on human rights, child protection, gender equality, and access to justice. The program also involves collaboration with social workers, community leaders, and relevant institutions to promote lawful, ethical, and fair treatment of all people.
