Farmer's Friend

The experience

At Biruwa Coffee Farm, we welcome volunteers as Farmer’s Friends—partners in nurturing our coffee plants and sustaining the land.This role is about learning and sharing: helping with planting, weeding, harvesting, and caring for the coffee trees while experiencing the rhythms of rural life in Syangja. Volunteers will work alongside local farmers, gain hands-on knowledge of sustainable practices, and contributeto building a warm environment.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 5 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Donation to project

Description: We invest it on Project Construction and fooding.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Between 18 and 70 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Nepal
