The experience

Our volunteers are here to ensure that our guests needs are met throughout the day. This role is general guest house work which involves some food & drink preparation, some cleaning and tidying and maybe some gardening and maintenance if that's a skill you possess! Always you should be promoting our products and ensuring that the guest has what they need to have the greatest experience while staying with us.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Fluent English or Fluent Vietnamese

Program Details

This role is mainly a morning job - preparing for when the guests arrive for breakfast and serving them while they are here. If we are busy then maybe helping with the rooms afterwards. If we are quiet then maybe some light gardening or maintenance.
You'll get a brief induction when you arrive but you will always be working with a member of our team so your role is more supportive. If there are no guests around then you ought to be proactive at finding tasks to do - washing up, sweeping, tidying etc.

Rules

As a foreign run guest house in Vietnam, rules governing drugs are very strict here. You cannot smoke weed on site and now vaping is also forbidden in Vietnam. The guest house will be fined if the police are made aware of this.
